12/1, creditable second of 7 in handicap at Goodwood (6f, good to soft) 21 days ago. Eased in class here and she's high on the shortlist.
Three-time C&D winner, the latest off 5 lb lower here last month. Fifth of 7 in handicap at Windsor (5.1f, heavy, 4/1) 11 days ago and probably a shade too high in the weights for now.
Course winner. 9/2, respectable fourth of 8 in handicap at Newmarket (7f, good) 8 days ago, finding less than looked likely. This drop in trip is an interesting move and she's one to consider.
Eleven runs since last win in 2021. 6/1, sixth of 8 in handicap at Newcastle (6f). Off 112 days and she looks vulnerable from a win point of view.
Won 6-runner handicap at Kempton (6f, 5/4) 16 days ago by 1½ lengths from Starsong, readily. 4 lb rise is hardly draconian and no surprise at all if she's in the mix once again.
Last of 12 in handicap (25/1) at Ripon (5f, good) when last seen in September (reportedly bled). Probably best watched starting out for new yard.
Latest win at Chelmsford City in February. Blinkered for 1st time, creditable 1½ lengths second of 6 to Four Adaay in handicap at Kempton (6f, 17/2) 16 days ago. Will probably find one or two too good once more.
Lightly-raced maiden. 16/1 and hooded for 1st time, eighth of 11 in handicap at Chelmsford City (5f). Off 6 months and needs to raise her game.
Career best when winning 7-runner handicap (7/2) at Salisbury (6f, good to firm) 8 days ago, driven out. Escapes a penalty and she has to enter calculations, for all that this looks tougher.
Forecasts
Four Adaay (10/3), Coup De Force (7/2), Granary Queen (4/1), Redredrobin (11/2), Hello Me (13/2), Sarah's Verse (17/2), Starsong (20/1), Vaunted (22/1), Hersilia (33/1)
The vote goes to the consistent GRANARY QUEEN, who has done most of her racing at 7f/1m but it could be that sprinting is her game after all. Coup de Force is accorded a great deal of respect on the back of a solid effort in a higher-grade handicap at Goodwood, while last week's Salisbury winner Redredrobin and Four Adaay are others to consider.
