C&D winner. 12/1, first run since leaving Mike Murphy when last of 10 in handicap at Windsor (8.1f, good to firm). Off 92 days. Others preferred.
Fifth of 7 in handicap at Salisbury (8f, good to firm, 14/1) 26 days ago. Modest strike rate (2-30) and likely to find a few too good.
Course winner. Latest win here in September. Good second of 10 in handicap (10/3) at Southwell (8.1f) 5 days ago. Expected to be bang there.
Respectable fourth of 10 in handicap (6/1) at this C&D 41 days ago. Visor on 1st time and possibilities off a workable mark.
Lightly-raced maiden. 16/1 and blinkered for 1st time, creditable fourth of 14 in handicap at Kempton (8f) 55 days ago, not clear run. Makes tapeta debut. Not easy to make a case for.
5/1, last of 8 in handicap at Brighton (9.9f, good to soft) 22 days ago. Poor an effort though that was, he will certainly have a chance if able to bounce back.
Thrice-raced maiden. Sixth of 13 in minor event (66/1) at Kempton (8f). Off 7 months ahead of this handicap debut, but in good hands and needs a close look in the betting.
C&D winner. Latest win here in August. Fifth of 7 in handicap (10/1) at Leicester (10f, good) 21 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.
C&D winner. 2 wins from 6 runs this year. Latest win here in April. Ninth of 10 in handicap (17/2) at Windsor (8.1f, good to firm), slowly away. Off 92 days.
Lightly-raced maiden. 7/2, respectable fourth of 8 in handicap at Windsor (8.1f, good to soft). Off 113 days. Makes tapeta debut. First run for yard after leaving Richard Hannon.
Fifteen runs since last win in 2021. 10/1, sixth of 8 in handicap at Brighton (9.9f, good to soft) 22 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Can make presence felt.
Unreliable individual. 22/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, 3½ lengths fourth of 13 to Harbour Vision in handicap at this course (8.6f) 14 days ago, slowly away.
Respectable 5½ lengths seventh of 13 to Harbour Vision in handicap at this course (8.6f, 11/1) 14 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals.

Forecasts
Harbour Vision (10/3), Renegade Rose (4/1), Anglesey Abbey (9/2), Wurlitzer (6/1), Berrygar (8/1), Salonica (14/1), Strategic Fortune (16/1), Wendell's Lad (18/1), Always Fearless (18/1), Marquis Of York (18/1), He's Our Star (33/1), Mummy's Boy (33/1), Say Goodnight (80/1)
HARBOUR VISION has been in good form of late and will prove a tough nut to crack if matching the form of his near-miss at Southwell last week. He shapes as though this new trip will be within range. Next on the list is Wurlitzer, who will be a threat off this reduced mark if the first-time visor has the desired effect. Wendell's Lad is also accorded respect, despite his now-show at Brighton last time.
- Harbour Vision10/3
- Wurlitzer6/1
- Wendell's Lad18/1
