Seen to good effect as he resumed winning ways in the Zetland Gold Cup (10f) at Redcar last month. Up 6 lb for that success and not one to dismiss.
Dual scorer for Charlie Fellowes who seemed unsuited by conditions when last seen 12 months ago in Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes at Royal Ascot. Blinkers go back on for his first start for this yard and this outing should reveal where he's at.
Useful performer in France who was last seen finishing 3½ lengths sixth of 7 to Penja in Group 3 Prix de Psyche at Deauville (9.9f) 11 months ago. Has since left A. Fabre (12,000 gns) and a market check is advised on reappearance. Tongue strap on for handicap debut.
Won 3 times in 2021 and returned at the top of his game when third at Lingfield in February. Below that level since but has dropped 2 lb below his last winning mark as a result.
Low-mileage 5-y-o who showed improved form to get off the mark on the back of an 18 month absence when scoring with a bit up his sleeve at York 3 weeks ago. 9 lb rise makes life tougher but there could be more to come upped to 1¼m for the first time.
Useful on the Flat for Jessica Harrington and showed something to work on when making the frame on hurdling debut at Punchestown when last seen in November. Has joined a top yard and he's one to look out for.
Useful sort who performed respectably when third in a Bahrain handicap in February. Below form back in Britain after 4 months off at Epsom last month and probably best watched on this occasion.
Scored 3 times in 2021 and ended her 3-y-o campaign with a bit more improvement when 5¾ lengths fifth of 11 to Shine For You in listed event at Saint-Cloud back in October. Not seen since but could pick up from where she left off.
Likeable sort who ran as well as he was entitled to in a strong Epsom contest last month. Handicapper appears to have his measure, but could hit the frame again.
Scored at Chelmsford last October and wasn't disgraced (pulled too hard) on reappearance at same course in April. Not disgraced having missed the break back on turf at York last month and the headgear goes back on for the first time in 2 years.
Promising son of Almanzor who landed a small-field Salisbury maiden (12f) early on last month and had little trouble with drop back to 1¼m to follow up on handicap bow at Bath since, keeping on well. This his toughest assignment yet but likely he's more in his locker.
Left Roger Varian's stable for 45,000 gns after a fair debut and stepped up on reappearance effort when sixth at Chester 5 weeks ago. Type to do better in handicaps so worth a market check.
Found his run of good form coming to a halt sporting a first-time hood when down the field at Yarmouth in May. Has since left Edward Bethell and probably best to look elsewhere despite a tongue tie being added.
War Front colt who was well backed to score on debut at Southwell (7f) in February. Added to his tally in a Haydock handicap (8.2f, good to soft) in May and beaten only by a completely unexposed one at this track (9f, good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Fancied to feature.
Made a winning reappearance at Lingfield in March and added to his tally with a smooth success back at that track a fortnight ago, quickening clear early in straight. Less exposed than most in this and it would be no surprise to see him involved.

Forecasts
Electrical Storm (10/3), Chairman (10/3), Aldhaja (5/1), Protagonist (13/2), Forest Falcon (8/1), Aqwaam (11/1), Le Forban (14/1), Sweet Reward (20/1), Yorkshire Lady (22/1), Arqoob (33/1), Jeremiah (40/1), You're Hired (50/1), Taskheer (100/1), Balgair (100/1), Gold Haze (125/1)
Several in with a shout but the vote goes to CHAIRMAN. Freddie & Martyn Meade's charge has improved in each of his 4 starts this year, and with further progress not out of the equation, he's fancied to complete the hat-trick with William Buick an eye-catching jockey booking. Bottom-weight Le Forban is less exposed than most so he's put forward as the main threat, while Aldhaja and Forest Falcon could also have a say in proceedings.
