Lightly-raced maiden. Hooded for 1st time, eleventh of 13 in handicap (4/1) at Leicester (7f, good) 30 days ago. This reduced mark looks a potentially handy one judged on his efforts in maiden/novice company.

Lightly-raced winner. Last of 8 in nursery (40/1) at Yarmouth (6f, good). Off 8 months (has been gelded) and will be a player if able to get back on track, but fair to say that he now has a bit to prove.

Thrice-raced maiden. 2/1, second of 5 in minor event at Lingfield (6f, AW) 25 days ago. Very much of interest on handicap/turf debut for respected yard.

Sixth of 12 in maiden at Wolverhampton (6.1f, 11/2) 76 days ago and this filly again looks vulnerable from a win point of view, for all that she's well-handicapped judged on early-season 2-y-o form when in the care of Martyn Meade.

SILKS PASS wasn't seen to best effect on return/handicap debut at Leicester and, open to improvement with that pipe-opener under his belt and over this new trip, Darryll Holland's charge earns the vote. Banana is interesting judged on her 2-y-o exploits, as is Obtain back down in class after contesting a listed race. However, bigger threats may be posed by handicap-debutant Aphelios and Whistledown, who is relatively exposed but is pretty reliable.
