Promising type. Fourth of 12 in maiden at Ascot (7f, good, 66/1) on debut 27 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Open to improvement and he has to enter calculations.
Foaled April 27. 77,000 gns yearling. Half-brother to several winners, including 1½m-1¾m winner Fiveandtwenty and 1m/8.3f winner Harry Bosch. Market should point the way.
Promising type. Third of 6 in maiden at Yarmouth (7f, firm, 11/2) on debut 15 days ago, running on. Will be wiser this time and should go close.
150/1, last of 10 in minor event at this course (8f, good) on debut 20 days ago. Best to look elsewhere.
100/1, eighth of 9 in maiden at Newmarket (7f, good to soft) on debut 83 days ago, very slowly away. Probably more of a long-term prospect.
Fourteenth of 15 in maiden at Newbury (6f, good, 200/1) on debut 13 days ago. Looks set for another struggle.
Ninth of 13 in minor event at Ayr (7.2f, good to soft, 150/1) on debut 13 days ago, slowly away. Plenty of stamina in pedigree and probably one for middle distance handicaps next year.
Foaled February 27. Oasis Dream filly. Closely related to 1½m winner Dreaming Blue. Dam, 1½m winner, half-sister to smart winner up to 1¼m (stayed 1½m) Lady of Dubai. One to note in the betting.
Sixth of 12 in maiden at Windsor (6f, good, 80/1) on debut 53 days ago. Readily passed over.
Twice-raced maiden. Twelfth of 13 in minor event at Kempton (7f, 18/1) 27 days ago. Significant step forward needed.
Foaled January 23. Half-sister to useful winner up to 6f Field Game. Dam of little account, half-sister to useful 5f-6f winner Cool Creek. Yard can ready a newcomer and market check a must.
Foaled February 18. Out of a half-sister to useful 2-y-o 6f/7f winner Firey Speech. Likely-looking type and needs close attention in the betting.
Foaled March 17. 45,000 gns 2-y-o. Sister to 3 winners, including smart/ungenuine 11f-2m winner Blakeney Point and smart 8.3f-1½m winner Lady Tiana. Yard's newcomers usually come on for a run.

Fundamental (4/6), Champagne Piaff (7/2), The Attorney (17/2), Escape (17/2), Pensada (18/1), Zuhair (20/1), Percy's Pride (22/1), Moment Critique (22/1), Trevolli (40/1), Dream A Little (40/1), Miss Tiki (50/1), Kinz (125/1), Thistleton (200/1), Mountain Ash (200/1)
There were positives to glean from FUNDAMENTAL's recent introduction at Yarmouth and, with improvement on the cards, he gets the nod ahead of Champagne Piaff, who also made a promising start to his career when fourth in the Ascot maiden won by subsequent Group 3 winner La Barrosa. It will be interesting to see how the newcomers shape up in the betting, particularly Escape and Pensada.
