Formerly very useful. Blinkered first time, last of 10 in handicap at Haydock (1m) 26 days ago, going off too hard. Drops into a Class 6 for the first time. Yard among winners. Check betting.
Reached frame in 2 Wolverhampton novices for Martyn Meade in March 2019. Makes handicap debut for new yard following 17 months off and the market will guide.
7/1, good second of 16 in handicap at Doncaster (7f, firm) 19 days ago, not clear run. Shortlist material.
C&D winner. May have still needed run when sixth of 8 in handicap at Beverley (7.4f, good to firm, 10/1) 30 days ago. Back on a workable mark and enters calculations.
Lightly-raced maiden. 10/1, disappointing when eleventh of 15 in handicap at Doncaster (7f, firm) 19 days ago. First-time tongue strap needs to help him get career back on track.
Course winner. Seventeen runs since last win in 2019. Tenth of 12 in handicap (16/1) at Catterick (7f, good to soft) 17 days ago.
Last of 11 in handicap at Musselburgh (7f, good, 100/1) 55 days ago. Hopes pinned on subsequent wind operation sparking a return to form.
Showed ability in AW maiden/novices at the start of the year and less exposed than a lot of these now handicapping after 6 months off.
Lightly-raced maiden who was last of 12 in 7f Lingfield handicap on his recent return from a break. Refitted cheekpieces need to make a difference.
Course winner. Respectable fifth of 10 in handicap at Beverley (7.4f, good) 48 days ago. Tongue strap on first time (has also had wind operation). Potentially well treated.
Seventh of 11 in handicap at Ayr (7f, good to soft, 14/1) on reappearance 10 days ago, unable to sustain effort. May strip fitter with that behind him.
Yet to trouble the judge in handicaps and will need to find some improvement from somewhere.
Pair of C&D wins at the start of the year. Peak fitness has to be taken on trust after 177 days off but good track record affords him respect.

Serenading (2/1), Placebo Effect (4/1), Etikaal (11/2), Martin's Brig (8/1), Tadaawol (11/1), Firsteen (11/1), Pattaya (12/1), Banksea (12/1), Bobby Joe Leg (14/1), Dande (22/1), Zhukovsky (25/1), Sea Storm (50/1), Lamorna (50/1), Astrospeed (66/1)
SERENADING shaped well at Doncaster last time and can build on that and get off the mark. Placebo Effect is feasibly handicapped if a recent wind operation has had a positive effect, while Marjorie Fife has had a couple of winners of late so the one-time very useful Banksea needs a betting check now dropping into a Class 6 for the first time.
