C&D winner in September last year off 5lb lower mark. Ran two fair races following return this summer but disappointed at Pontefract latest. Needs to bounce back to get involved.
Given a positive ride and made all to score over 1m at Chepstow latest running off lowest ever mark. Raised 4lb and back up to 1m2f but has won over this trip in the past and is clearly in good heart at present.
Bought for £12,000 after getting off the mark at 18th attempts for Richard Fahey in Redcar 1m2f seller in October. Won Southwell 1m handicap during the winter but has run poorly both starts this summer and makes little appeal.
Stable won this race two years ago and no surprise to see this gelding figure after two solid efforts at Bath and Chepstow. Looked a touch unbalanced at latter track when thrid and this flatter course may help cause.
Fair handicapper in his time winning six races including over C&D. Second at Chepstow 1m penultimate start but never competitive latest under today's inexperienced rider. 16lb lower than last win and clearly not quite the force of old.
Made winning return at Bath 1m2f in June beating Water's Edge by a neck but seemed not to get home over 1m4f latest so no surprise to see him dropping back to this trip. Only 2lb higher than latest win so remains on a competitive mark.
In fine form last season landing four handicaps including over C&D in off 60. Shaped nicley on first start of campaign when 4th of 12 at Newmarket in June and off 1lb lower comes very much into the reckoning.
Scored here over 1m on seasonal return in June but disappointed over C&D last time off 9lb higher mark and may well be in the grip of the handicapper now. Others make more appeal.
Seven-race maiden who ran creditably on first run of this campaign when leading until last 110 yards at Doncaster 1m in June. May well have come on for the run but has stamina to prove over this extra two furlongs.
Stays up to 1m4f and won over 1m2f Lingfield AW in March prior to poor last of 13 latest on first run back from spring break at Chepstow last month where jockey reported he moved poorly. 2lb lower now but has plenty to prove at present.
Showed promise in three runs last term for William Haggas at up to 1m but has run poorly both outings for current yard this summer over 1m2f and appears to be struggling for form.
Eight-race maiden but has been second three times including over 1m at Yarmouth in June. Stamina looked an issue when fading at Sandown 1m2f latest so trip may find him out again.
New Approach gelding out of 1m2f Listed winner. Looked green when 5th of 11 on debut 1m2f at Chelmsford last month then did better before appearing not get home when third over 1m4f at Newmakret last week. Handicap bow and should not be far away.
Promising 50/1 third in heavy ground on debut at Yarmouth 6f last October for Alan Bailey before well beaten at Newmarket time after. Long last of 11 on first start for new connections at Yarmouth 1m2f in June and faces tough task on handcap bow.
Nothing to write home about on first two starts at Newmarket this summer but better last time when sixth of 16 in C&D maiden two weeks ago, weakening final furlong. Makes handicap bow off feasible mark and is worthy of consideration.

Eternal Prince (11/4), Water's Edge (4/1), Verify (4/1), Molinari (5/1), Mr Top Hat (7/1), Rotherwick (12/1), Willa (14/1), Calm Down (14/1), Limelighter (14/1), Junoesque (20/1), Rajguru (20/1), Uther Pendragon (25/1), Star Of Wells (50/1), Lady Isabel (100/1), Abel Tasman (100/1), Lightning Attack (150/1)
Quite a few with fair claims here but getting plenty of weight on handicap bow CALM DOWN is suggested after putting up an improved effort over C&D last time. Her yard remains in good form. Water's Edge has been knocking on the door and should again be right on the premises along with Chepstow winner Mr Top Hat, and Willa, who shaped well on return when fourth at Doncaster in June. With first-time cheekpieces added Eternal Prince enters the equation along with the in-from Molinari and Junoesque who ran nicely at HQ recently.
