Sole career win was over C&D a year ago. Ran as though the drop down to 7f found her out last time and better expected going back to her optimum trip today.
10L third of eight at Kempton in December showed something to work on but disappointed last time. Still early days and the absence since last run suggests something may have been amiss.
Has beaten just a total of two rivals in a trip of maidens at various trips and not hard to look elsewhere.
Both career wins were gained over 7f at Chelmsford last year and that seems to be his best trip these days. Needs to leave comeback run well behind.
Poor maiden who has been tried at various trips and the blinkers which go back had no great effect when tried before and others make more appeal.
Has shown no ability at huge prices in four starts and the first-time cheekpieces needs to have a dramatic impact to play a prominent part.
Very ordinary form but didn't look to stay 1m2f at Bath last week and this shorter trip looks a big plus with the possibility of more to come.
No form to speak of in three runs at huge prices but at least it is early days and interesting to see if the market speaks in her favour.
Very moderate form and last run was the first he actually beat a rival. Rated just 22 and not hard to look elsewhere.
Poor form in three maidens though did go off short price on debut last year so just possible the first-time cheekpieces could eke out some improvement. Market move would be informative.
Poor form in three maidens and then handicap debut but yard going quite well at present and this represents a drop in class.
Forecasts
Billie Beane (5/2), Ho Leng Lui (3/1), Truffle Mac (4/1), Total Distraction (6/1), Princess Carly (7/1), Emerald Fox (14/1), Tony's Rocket (20/1), Quick Monet (25/1), Fluttershy (66/1), Purple Tommy (66/1), Scorpio's Dream (100/1)
Basement grade and although Billie Beane probably sets the form standard, some of her younger rivals may have more to offer, so a chance is taken with TOTAL DISTRACTION who has had just the three runs. Ho Leng Lui is probably at her optimum trip now and could be the danger in a race that will take very little winning.
- Total Distraction
- Ho Leng Lui
- Billie Beane
