Winner on return at Haydock (1m2f) last month but not as good when fourth at Hamilton (1m1f) on latest start. No respite in the weights and races from 2lb out of the handicap.
Above last winning mark at Redcar last season but showed signs of promise when 3L second at Leicester (1m2f) earlier this month. Useful claimer takes 3lb and chance from outside the handicap.
Looks to be a specialist at Beverley, and made it 2-2 there this season with authoritative success in 1m2f handicap this month. 8lb hike is steep and goes off career-high mark now.
Very useful handicapper in his pomp but seems to have lost his way. Little ability shown when down the field at York (1m2f) last time and makes limited appeal on paper.
Only raced twice to date, but got off the mark when narrow winner of 1m4f Southwell novice in February. Absent since and opening mark is lofty enough, but remains very unexposed.
Dual winner on the AW at Newcastle in the winter and ran well on turf return before bombing out in 7f handicap here last month. Drastically up in trip in bid to re-find the winning spark.
Last two wins have come in amateur riders' contests and not shown a great deal this season. Latest 7L eighth at Windsor (1m2f) means plenty more is needed in this deep contest.
Game second on debut at Newmarket in November and had tough time of it since. Viable excuses when pulling up at Windsor (1m2f) last time and looks an interesting sort for handicap bow.
Yarmouth maiden winner last term who has come up against some strong rivals this season. Only beaten 1L into fourth at Newcastle (1m2f) last time and looks set to go close at this level.
Hefty purchase as a yearling. Best effort cam when second two starts ago before inauspicious handicap bow at Haydock (1m3f) this month. Maybe one for time so cannot be discounted.
Still a maiden after four starts but showed promise before entering this company. Only fifth on handicap bow at Wolverhampton (1m) however so may need a bit more now.
Yarmouth winner (1m2f) last season. Back to form with runner-up places in last two starts, including at Haydock (1m2) this month. Versatile ground wise so has to go on the shortlist.
Solid second on seasonal return at Newcastle in June but not as good in two subsequent starts, including 22L defeat at Haydock (1m2f) last time. Very limited appeal.
Showed promise during juvenile campaign and in handicap company at Hamilton (1m) two starts ago before modest sixth at that venue (1m) last time. This looks much deeper so can probably be looked over.

A deep handicap in which luck may be needed, preference is for MAQTAL to land a winning blow. His formbook looks very good, mixing with a few sorts who have since gone on to win heritage handicaps at this trip, and he still remains unexposed, meaning more progression is still possible. Nashy disappointed last time out but his breeding and price-tag suggests he is highly thought of and his trainer is known for nurturing these prospect, while another unexposed duo of Photograph and Strawberry Rock cannot be dismissed, especially the latter whose formbook is starting to work out very well.
