Was green throughout on Kempton debut a month ago when sent off 66/1 but did show some ability, and with that experience under his belt he could well leave that form behind.

22/1
£40,000 yearling. Dam won over this trip as a juvenile and went on to win a Listed contest over 1m2f, and produced a winning sprinter. Blinkered on debut and worth monitoring in market.

15/2
Last of three on recent run at Goodwood but the runner-up that day has boosted the form since so there may be more to come now stepping up to 7f.

80/1 for recent 6f Windsor debut but showed no promise and will have to show huge improvement in first time cheekpieces to trouble the best of these.

Well behind when sent 25/1 for 6f Haydock debut last month and although one winner has come from that race, the form is fairly ordinary and needs to take a big step forward.

£42,000 yearling. Half-brother to two winners including decent sprint handicapper Scorching Heat. Stable has had just the one juvenile runner this term but market should reveal more.

Dromquinna27
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: Rob Hornby| T: A King
1/2
Sent off 16/1 for 6f debut at Lingfield but did plenty of good work in the closing stages when chasing home a pair who have strong form since in good class juvenile contests so sets a clear standard on form.

Horse silk
16/1
€52,000 yearling. Half-sister to four winners from 6f to 1m2f and yard clearly know how to ready a newcomer and they are currently 3-31 with juveniles this season.

Horse silk
33/1
Fourth foal of dam who was a multiple winner from 1m to 1m4f though only one to have reached the track to date is a still a maiden. Yard going well with their handicappers but juveniles generally need the experience.

Forecasts

Dromquinna (1/2), Doonbeg Farmer (15/2), Semper Augustus (9/1), Bowland Park (10/1), Menai Bridge (11/1), Lady Leonie (16/1), Cuban Cigar (22/1), Miss Paloma (33/1), Little Red Rooster (200/1)

Verdict

DROMQUINNA caught the eye on her debut last month and with that race working out well, and the extra furlong looking sure to suit, should take a deal of beating. Bowland Park did enough on debut to suggest a race should be within his compass and the newcomers make some appeal on paper with Semper Augustus probably the pick.
  1. Dromquinna
  2. Bowland Park
  3. Semper Augustus
