Heeraat gelding steps up in trip having struggled when running very green on debut here over 6f recently. Didn't show enough that day to warrant serious consideration.
Not seen for more than months but had fair form in maidens last term going close at Newmarket on debut over 7f and again running creditably when second although a beaten odds-on favourite over 1m at Ffos Las in September.
75,000gns son of Dark Angel, half-brother to three winners at up to 1m1f. Makes debut for yard that has 15% strike rate with 3yo's at this venue so is well worth noting for any market confidence.
Motivator gelding who has started at long odds on both outings to date. Not disgraced when sixth over extended 1m at Wolverhampton on return but may do better once handicapped.
Nicely bred son of Shamardal out of maiden who is half-sister to a Group 1 6f winner. Top stable's 23% strike rate here with this generation is impressive so has to be considered despite inexperience.
Iffraaj filly out of 1m2f Listed winner. Like so many of yard's newcomers wasn't knocked about on debut and will have learned plenty on back of 5th of 11 over 7f at Newbury recently. Stable in good form so rates a contender.
Gleneagles filly out of a 1m winner. Shaped with a deal of promise when good third of 11 at Chelmsford 1m earlier this month, keepng on well from inside the distance. Sure to be more streetwise this time.
Mastercraftsman filly out of a maiden. Didn't show a great deal on debut at Newcastle in February but did better when staying on into fifth at Kempton recently. More needed but does appear to be going the right way.
32,000gns Sea The Stars filly out of maiden who stayed up to 1m4f. Well held although not disgraced both starts to date and may do better once upped in trip and switched to contest handicaps.
Forecasts
Magic Sky (11/8), Hot Summer (5/2), Baarrij (5/1), Shamaroon (17/2), Party Planner (11/1), King's Knight (14/1), Sea Of Maria (80/1), Magic Lute (100/1), Clover Hill (250/1)
An interesting maiden can fall to MAGIC SKY who showed a fair amount of talent when a promising third on debut at Chelmsford earlier this month and will know much more this time. There could be more to come too from the likes of Party Planner and Baarij, while Hot Summer sets a reasonable standard on his placed efforts in novice company last term. Of the newcomers, Shamaroon and King's Knight stand out as the types to go well on debut representing powerful stables.
- Magic Sky
- Shamaroon
