Finished eight-length behind the front two when third at Southwell (2m; standard) before the enforced break. Switch to turf offers some hope and he is back down to his last winning mark at a track he has ran well at before.
More solid profile than his rivals and holds some respectable recent form to his name including when third at Chelmsford (1m6f; standard). Front two from that contest have gone on to run tidily in defeat since. Big player despite advancing years.
36lb lower on the level than he is over hurdles. Entitled to need the run when well-beaten at Newcastle (2m; standard) at the start of the month. Would need to step up on that significantly to have a say.
Remains lightly raced and the blinkers are reapplied but he needs to show vast improvement on what he has shown in his last three starts, including last time out at Lingfield (1m5f; standard to slow) when he struggled. 5lb above last winning mark.
Unlucky to suffer trouble in running at a crucial stage in the race when sixth at Lingfield (1m5f; standard to slow). Been dropped 2lb since then, and has definite claims if able to reproduce a similar run back on turf and up in trip.
18-race maiden who was beaten a long way when dropped in trip at Lingfield (1m5f; standard to slow) recently. Subsequently dropped 4lb and the standout run on his CV came in a seller. Opposed with confidence.
Ran better than his finishing position would suggest last time when a close-up ninth at Lingfield (2m; standard) when stepped back up in trip. On a nice mark and he could feature if none the worse for three-month break.
Still chasing elusive first career success after 17 starts. However, she has posted some pretty solid efforts in defeat of late and looks a reliable place contender once again stepping back up to a trip which suits her best.
Impossible to recommend for win purposes given overall record of 0-20. Place claims at best on the strength of his second at Kempton (1m4f; standard to slow) back in February. Not certain to reproduce that as shown by recent lacklustre efforts.
Stable second-string but posted a more encouraging effort when making seasonal reappearance at Chelmsford (1m6f; standard). Could be well-handicapped if building on that, and he is unexposed over this trip. Interesting contender.
Was eased down when tailed off on seasonal debut at Chelmsford (1m6f; standard). Not won since April 2017 and looks regressive at the moment as he runs off what is a basement mark. Best watched.

This final race of the day offers a chance for DOVILS DATE to gain compensation after he looked sure to go extremely close to winning before being met by a wall of horses 1f out. This longer trip should suit and he should improve for that first run in three months. The form of the race Norab finished third in last time hasn't taken a knock with the front pair running respectably since and he should be bang there at the business end of the race, as too should the consistent Sinndarella who is returned to her favoured trip. Percy's Prince shouldn't be fully discounted either after he ran well despite finishing ninth when last seen in March.
