Posted best effort for some time when runner-up at Kempton (5f; standard to slow) on first run for six months. Could be ready to take advantage of dwindling mark and interest will heighten further if popular in the betting.
Ran in accordance with market odds of 125-1 when beating just one home at Newmarket (6f; good to firm) on reappearance at the start of the month. Plenty to prove now, and obviously can't be recommended until showing more enthusiasm.
Finished behind More Than Likely when last on return to action at Chepstow (5f; good) recently. Dropped 3lb subsequently so is back down to last winning mark and he has scored over this C&D four times. Would like to see a bit more from him though.
Had no chance catching the winner when beaten just a neck by Badayel at Lingfield (6f; standard to slow) earlier this month. Been raised 3lb for that and has never won off a mark as high as this before but can't be ruled out given current form.
Previous C&D winner who drops in trip from 7f to 5f after finishing down the field when making reappearance at Kempton (7f; standard to slow). Just 1lb above winning mark and still not fully exposed at this trip. Check market vibes.
2lb below last winning mark and has shown much more encouraging signs the last twice on the AW. Reverts to turf on first run back from a break and is dangerous to rule out if able to go well fresh.
Four-time C&D winner who must be respected at this venue. Posted quiet reappearance effort when only 10th of 11 at Newmarket (6f; good to firm). Only 1lb above the mark he won off when winning competitive affair over C&D in September.
Makes return to action after 122-day break. Been kept on the AW in recent months so is interesting off a 10lb lower mark as he reverts to turf. May be significant if he is popular in the market.
Took advantage of declining handicap mark to score over C&D last season. While there could be a similar story on the cards again, he is not worth the risk in current form and given his advancing years.
Finished last of six on seasonal return at Lingfield (5f; standard to slow). That followed previous effort in February where she also failed to beat a single one of her six rivals. 6lb below the mark she scored off at this track in September.

Forecasts
Delagate This Lord (3/1), Spoof (3/1), War Whisper (5/1), Handytalk (6/1), Boom The Groom (13/2), Real Estate (15/2), Moonraker (11/1), Irene May (12/1), Union Rose (33/1), More Than Likely (33/1), Waseem Faris (66/1), The Night Watch (80/1)
He is evidently in the form of his life, but Real Estate has something to prove off a mark as high as this as he returns to the turf. Moonraker is an intriguing runner given his turf mark is 10lb lower than his AW mark. One who should be afforded respect over this C&D is Delagate This Lord who is eased in grade after contesting a competitive event at the start of the month. War Whisper is also worth a mention, but clear preference is for SPOOF. The selection showed clear improvement when runner-up recently and could be dangerously well-handicapped (13lb his last winning mark) if building on his runner-up effort last time.
- Spoof
- Moonraker
- Delagate This Lord
