Still a maiden but some very good runs in defeat last year including losses at Ascot and Goodwood in better class contests and if ground stays on the soft side that will suit him so one for the short list.
Consistent sort and ran up to best on comeback when second at Kempton over 1m. All four career wins have been gained at this trip so the drop down is in his favour and no reason why he shouldn't run his race.
Clear-cut win over 6f here last year though didn't manage to go on from that and needs to improve to play a leading role here.
First run since leaving Karl Burke for 16,000 gns in October. Slightly hit and miss last term but did win first time out so no surprise should he go well in this comeback run.
Consistent handicapper who is versatile regarding trip and should come on for Yarmouth comeback recently. Drop back to 7f is a plus and should get a stronger pace to aim at on this occasion.
Made all to win on first run last season when with Andrew Balding and unlucky in running when last seen at Sandown in September. Has since moved to in-form yard and should be capable of more improvement.
Sole win was gained at Kempton over a year ago and that a track he has ran well at since. Bit disappointing he hasn't managed to add to that but showed enough on comeback to suggest he could double his tally sometime.
Generally seen on the AW these days with two wins at Southwell this winter. Last win on turf was in a seller and others make more appeal.
16lb lower than most recent win at Chester in May last year but has struggles to recapture that sort of form since and is eligible for lower class contests than this.

MARSHAL DAN ran right up to his best on Kempton comeback and with all his wins gained at this shorter trip he can get back in the winners enclosure. Hawridge Storm. may still be a maiden but has some sound form to his name and looks a threat with Kitcarina another to make appeal in a competitive handicap.
