Maiden across all codes and didn't offer a lot in four AW runs around the turn of the year having joined this yard; last spotted taking a fall over hurdles at Catterick in March when beaten. Only one run in a h'cap and not devoid of promise.
Maiden winner for Richard Hannon in 2015; mostly struggled in h'caps for that yard but won over hurdles for this trainer last year. Shaped as if needing the run on return at Newcastle and not surprising if going well from career-low mark.
In good form over fences during 2019 without winning; has left Richard Guest since and is completely unexposed in this sphere so market useful; booking of Martin Dwyer a plus-factor.
Just one win in 26 career starts (at Southwell in 2018) but fine second at Beverley (1m4f, good; 7-1) 11 days ago. Needs to build on that/prove stamina but in good heart seemingly and that's a positive.
Winner of a 1m5f handicap at Bath (good-to-soft) in September on final start for William Knight; didn't achieve much in three winter starts over hurdles but only 3lb above that win-mark now and entitled to have ambitions on return to the Flat.
Vastly improved effort last week at Chepstow (2m, good; 5-1) when finishing ½L third of eight on first attempt beyond 1m4f. That came after a break and has to rate a serious player dropped slightly in trip from the same mark here.
Six wins in 29 career starts, three Flat and three over hurdles; no win in this sphere since 2017 but ran sound races in similar events at Doncaster/Redcar a year ago. Place claims if stripping fit for new yard on return from absence.
Maiden with a patchy record, went close in first-time blinkers at Redcar (1m6f, good) in September but poor next time on AW at Wolverhampton; may not have stayed 2m+ there 10 days ago on return from 242-day absence. Chance down in trip.
Some promise in a Windsor novice (1m3½f, good to firm; 14-1) back in September when finishing 7L fifth. AW efforts at Kempton either side were very tame. She makes her h'cap debut in an open heat if improving.
Seven-time winner and needs a good thorough test of stamina to be effective; down the field at Newcastle in March following win surgery and closing in on two years since last win; others more persuasive.
Won a heavy-ground maiden in Ireland over this trip in 2017 for Willie Mullins and has four hurdles wins since; most recently in October at Carlisle. Could be on lenient mark here and so market should prove most informative off a break.
Strike-rate poor (1-19 on Flat) but did win maiden hurdle on first start for this trainer at Sedgefield in October (backed to do so); couldn't justify favouritism on AW recently (fourth) over 1m4f but sharper now and stamina no concern up in trip.
Justified favouritism at Musselburgh (1m4½f, good to soft) last August to gain first win but rather disappointed in four starts afterwards. Should come on from recent AW return (travelled nicely) and on a mark from which he can succeed if so.

Mousebird was much-improved last week on her return to action over 2m at Chepstow and must go on the shortlist with that run in mind, while Sea Art returns to the Flat on a workable mark and should have something to offer. Cuba Ruba and Robeam should come on for recent runs and will contend if doing so but a speculative chance is taken with LOUGH SALT, having his first go in a Flat handicap at the age of nine for new connections. He had some good efforts in 2019 over jumps before losing his way and Martin Dwyer is a positive booking here in a race that looks wide open. He should provide some value in the betting and could compete from a mark of 60.
