C&D may be vital once again to a contest like this and ARLECCHINO'S ARC can continue his love affair with the Essex track in this race. Already a three-time winner here, he fared well over a stamina-stretching trip last time out and back over his preferred distance, may be worth latching on to. Cat Royale sets the form standard on his recent efforts and despite the handicapper looking to try and get the measure of him, he may have some improvement left in him, while the likes of Hard Toffee and Decoration of War have dropped considerably in the weights despite showing some glimmers of hope and may have fallen back onto likeable marks.
