£9,000 yearling whose dam is an unraced half-sister to decent sprint handicappers Angelic Lord and Big Time Maybe; some appeal on pedigree but a mile might be a stretch on debut.
$375,000 yearling who made a highly satisfactory start at Chelmsford (7f, standard) last month. Pedigree suggests the step up to a mile won't be too much of an issue; a leading contender here.
€18,000 yearling who is a half-brother to a couple of 7f winners; his dam is an influence for speed though. From a stable noted for a patient approach with its youngsters. The betting can guide.
€160,000 yearling; a half-brother to 1m2f/1m4f winner Ciqrue Royale; his dam also won over similar trips. Highly respected yard, so another to bear in mind if supported in the betting. A top jockey booking is a further bonus.
£30,000 yearling who was readily brushed aside on debut at Thirsk (7f, good) in September. Already has improvement to find.
325,000 gns foal; a son of 2015 Epsom Derby winner Golden Horn out of a German 1m2f winner. Carries exalted colours and runs for a highly adept handler of inexperienced horses. Another for the shortlist.
Plenty of winners in her bloodlines and ought to be effective over this sort of trip judging by the pedigree. Has a 7lb claimer in the plate for this racecourse debut and can only benefit from the run.
Regally-owned Shamardal filly who is a half-sister to 1m2f AW winner Wemyss Ware. The betting can guide as to where she stands with stablemate Innovation (same colours). Jockey booking suggest this filly is the first choice.
Daughter of Dubawi who is a half-sister to 7f-1m5f winner Frontispiece; her dam was effective of 6f but is notably a sister to a winning miler. Highly respected connections but looks the stable's second string.
No impact in two starts before now and hard to see this 11,000 gns purchase being a leading light in this company. Steps up in trip so also has a stamina question to answer.
Yard has enjoyed a good spell with its younger contenders but this filly made very little impact on debut at Southwell last month and is hard to recommend on that evidence. Needs a big step forward.
75,000 gns two-year-old who is related to US Grade 3 winner Qaraaba and a handful of others winners who were effective between 6f and 1m. Yard going well so dangerous to rule out a bold effort.

Several interesting type on show in a race which might well produce a few winners further down the line. The likes of: Spectrum Of Light and Liberation Point are expensive purchases who represent top yards, while The Queen's Desert Flyer also appeals as a long-term prospect who is worth keeping tabs on from here. However, DUBLIN PHARAOH caught the eye with a solid run on debut; the colt fluffed the start but got into a good rhythm before half-way and was rattling home inside the distance marker; creating the impression that today's extra furlong won't be too much of an issue.
