Struggled on debut on heavy ground at Newbury on debut before putting up a better effort in a seller at Lingfield on his latest start; hard to get too excited about but is open to some improvement.
Cost 50,000 guineas as a yearling; fairly well bred colt related to plenty of winners up to 1m4f; interesting contenders whose chances may be flagged in the market on debut.
Gutaifan colt has changed hands for some nice sums. Finished fourth in a Leicester novice on debut in June before building on that effort to finish 2nd at Ffos Las in July; obvious room for improvement and leading contender.
Two fair efforts to date; arguably found 1m2f too far last time out at Chelmsford in November and this step back in trip looks the intelligent thing to do; one for the shortlist.
Unraced Sir Percy colt bought for 40,000 gns at the sales 13 months ago. Dam a winner in France and market support would be notable on first racecourse appearance.
Dick Turpin colt out of dam who won at both 6f and 7f; slowly away and quickly outpaced on only racecourse appearance at Lingfield in November; should be straighter here but that form does not shout winner.
US bred colt; cost $90,000 as a yearling; third foal; half-brother to the 1m2f AW winner Battle Of Paradise; well beaten and easy to back on debut at Lingfield recently; needs to show plenty of improvement to get involved.
Gelded son of Authorized bought for 50,000 guineas at the sales in October 2018; penny only started to drop in closing stages of debut over course and distance in November; should be better here and very much one to consider.
Telescope colt. Half-Brother to several winners including up to 1m1f winner Miss Cato and 1m5f winner Regal Monarch.; always behind and outpaced on debut here in November; should improve but may still not be good enough.
Kitten's Joy colt bought for €75,000 at the breeze-up sales in the spring; always behind on racecourse debut at Wolverhampton in November; entitled to be better here.
Gelded son of Free Eagle, cost €60,000 yearling; dam unraced half-sister to smart winner up to 7f Absolutely So; always behind on only racetrack appearance and needs to improve plenty to get involved.
Did not seem to appreciate step up in trip last time out at Chelmsford to 1m2f and sensibly steps back here; open to more improvement and looks one of the more likely winners.

PYRAMID PLACE has some of the best form on show evidenced by his performance over course and distance in November. He should be able to build on that run where he was doing his best work in the closing stages and is a tentative selection. Fiveandtwenty should appreciate a return to this trip after finding 1m2f too far at this stage of her career last time out. A repeat of her debut effort will see her in the shake up. Itkaann shaped with promise on both his racecourse appearances earlier in the year and will not have to have matured too much to play a leading role.
