A weak finale and although he may now prefer further SHIFTING GOLD was impressive here a week ago and may now have just turned the corner so can follow up. The interesting contender could be Arlette Du Rue who could well have more to come and wouldn't need to be very good to make an impression. In a race where three-year-olds may dominate Noble Fox may prove best of the rest.
