Has scored twice over this C&D, while many of his wins have come at this course, including back in May in a sprint contest (5f). He was just ¾L away last time at Kempton (6f) when he was third of seven. Remains off the same mark. One to consider.
Is on a long losing sequence which goes back to July 2017. There have been a few encouraging signs this year though, including when he was second of 10 at Ayr (6f) back in June. Was sixth of 13 last time at Newcastle (6f). Worth respecting.
Prevailed twice on the AW at the back end of last year at Lingfield. Has yet to score in 2019 in six starts so far though. She was eighth of 11 on her latest attempt at Kempton (7f). Has been eased 2lb. Others are preferred.
A three-time C&D winner here, with her latest success coming back in January. Has gone close on a number of occasions since then. She was fourth of six last time out over this C&D. Big player at this course.
Has won twice over this C&D. His form this year has been largely disappointing though. He could only finish eighth of 11 at this course over 5f last time out. Is down 2lb in the weights. Needs to improve on recent efforts.
Broke her maiden at Yarmouth (6f) back in August but has been unable to follow that up in three runs since. She was eighth of 13 over this C&D on her latest outing. Needs to bounce back.
Has won over this C&D but the majority of his best form has come on turf. He was a long way down the field in 11th place of 14 on his last start at Newcastle (5f). Not one that stands out off the page.
A two-time C&D who last prevailed at Bath (5½f) back in June. His form since then has been disappointing. He was eighth of 11 on his latest run at Windsor (6f). Set for his first start for his new yard here. Best to watch.
Has yet to prevail this year but has gone close on a number of occasions, including on his latest start at Windsor (6f) where he was second of 12 runners. Has gone up just 1lb for his near miss. One for the shortlist.
Forecasts
Turanga Leela (7/2), Bahuta Acha (5/1), Steelriver (5/1), Great Shout (5/1), Silca Mistress (7/1), Upstaging (8/1), Laubali (9/1), Spirit Of Wedza (16/1), Miracle Garden (33/1)
TURANGA LEELA has already prevailed three times over this C&D and her recent form here suggests she is set to add to her tally as she is running really well at the moment. Steelriver was not far away off this mark at Kempton last time and another bold bid can be expected at a course he enjoys, while Bahuta Acha is consistently running well without success so take to fill up the placings.
- Turanga Leela
- Steelriver
- Bahuta Acha
