Seven-time turf winner but is 0-11 on AW and has run very moderately in three previous visits to this venue. Others make more appeal on that basis.
Fair handicap in his pomp but that was more than three years ago. Placed in 5-6 runs here this winter but has been less effectively of late and has a bit to prove.
Both career wins hace come on turf on fast ground. yet to score on this surface and hasn't run well last two outings. Drop in grade may help but more needed.
All three wins came in native France and has generally failed to impress in his career this side of the Channel. Has run better though of late and on balance of recent runs should be thereabouts in this company.
Last win came off mark of 75 in July 2017 and has pretty much be on the slides since then. Not disgraced most starts this term thoguh in better company and this drop in class may help her get in among them once again.
Won 7f h'cap here off 59 in January but can handle herself at this trip. Fair fourth in first-time blinkers here last time, yard in good form, and eyecatching jockey booking make her worth a second glance.
Won two 6f h'caps here in January and has performed with credit on two subsequent visits here. Clearly goes well at this venue and drop in grade gives her a fair chance.
Has shown virtually nil in three maidens at up to 1m2f, and it would be a stretch to say this drop right back in trip will prompt a transformation First-time tongue-tie applied, good apprentice booked but has plenty to do.
Stayed on when third here over 7f penultimate start and not obvious that drop back in trip will be to her benefit. Hails from shrewd yard though so well worth a market check.
Showed nothing in first three starts last year for John Riches. Subject of big gamble (18/1 to 7/2) on debut for current yard at Yarmouth in August on h'cap bow but ran badly. Drops in trip and tongue-tie applied.
Bits and pieces of form last year for Jonathan Portman and ran better over C&D last time than finishing position indicates. Yard having a few winners so not without a chance at this level.
Half-sister to listed sprint winner who has been well beaten all three starts in much better company so far. Starts here at a very low level and worth noting if there is any sign of market support.
Failed by just a neck over C&D last time in similar event and has every chance here if able to reproduce that running. One for the shortlist with good rider booked.
Forecasts
Obsession For Gold (3/1), Eldelbar (7/2), Santafiora (5/1), Groupie (10/1), Mooroverthebridge (10/1), Lady Lavinia (12/1), Juniors Dream (12/1), Lottie Deno (14/1), Dodgy Bob (16/1), Dreamboat Annie (25/1), Cosmic Chatter (28/1), Moneta (33/1), Moudallal (50/1)
A very low quality contest with consistency being in short supply. MOOREOVERTHEBRIDGE is suggested as one that should give you a run for your money as she goes well here and ran a decent race last time. Obsession For Gold was only just beaten here on his latest start and has to be respected, while the likes of Groupie and Eldelbar are not without hope. Lottie Deno was a massive gamble last time when running a shocker, but it might be too early to give up on her, and Moneta is another with a chance of making the frame.
- Mooroverthebridge
- Groupie
- Obsession For Gold
