Only career win came on the here over 1m on her final start for John Gosden; looks to have rather lost her way for this yard though. Well held at Brighton last time (back from three months off); now tried in an extravagant headgear combination.
Fair handicapper who was successful at Doncaster in the summer over this trip; looked back to form on Tapeta debut last time (first-time visor worn), nearest at finish. Blinkers worn for win return, hard to rule out if getting a decent gallop.
Showed improved form for this yard originally winning a Bath 1m2f handicap in this grade back in May; run respectably on a few occasions since off slightly higher marks. Didn't impress last time and now dons first-time blinkers to sharpen him up.
Some fair form at this level to his name (triple course winner; 1m); run well of late without getting his head in front (often poorly placed in his races). May well have a race in him if everything falls right; 0-3 beyond 1m2f, needs a good gallop.
Versatile sort; winner on the Flat and over hurdles in August on contrasting ground, the win on the level coming over 1m4f (landed big gamble). Not quite in the same form on the Flat last time; 0-5 on the AW, first run here, market watch advised.
Only has one win to her name that success coming at Leicester last year off a 7lb higher mark over 1m2f; run with credit without success this year. Yet to run beyond 1m2f; has ground to make up on Contrast from their Lingfield clash last time.
Had the run of the race when scoring his only win at Beverley in April (Tom Tate trained); looks to have gone off the boil since then. Returns from a break making his stable debut, looks to be one best watched for now unless market says otherwise.
Consistent filly whose only win came here over 7f although that was four years ago; ran well last time at Bath in a first-time visor over 1m2f. Does look stretched by trips such as today's though; may be found wanting again with stamina fully tested.
Dual course winner with one of those victories coming last time out over 1m4f gaining due reward for some consistent recent efforts on turf/AW. Nudged up 3lb for that narrow win and that may be enough to prevent him from following up; place chance.
Taken on a new lease of life recently gaining back-to-back low-grade handicap victories over 1m2f at Chelmsford; far from disgraced in pursuit of his hat-trick last time over same C&D. Strong traveller; fair chance of returning to winning form here.
Dual C&D winner (both wins off 3lb lower mark) turning in his best run of the season when winning here last month (poorly drawn, won with a bit in hand). Failed to confirm that form last time here (1m4f, faded late on); should fare better this time.
Maiden (0-18) who despite yet to record a victory but has shown some fair form and got back to near her best at Bath last time (1m2f) off this mark. Should run her race again but does look vulnerable to any less-exposed sorts.
Most of his form is modest although he has won around here over 1m; has looked out of sorts for much of this year. Took a step back in the right direction last time in another change of headgear (none worn here); races off pace, not one to trust.

Trailboss (4/1), Contrast (4/1), Near Kettering (9/2), Mullarkey (9/2), Sweet Charity (5/1), Dangerous Ends (7/1), Topology (10/1), Miss Blondell (10/1), Highway One (16/1), Simbirsk (16/1), Fair Power (25/1), The Warrior (33/1), Glacier Fox (50/1), Margie's Choice (80/1)
Very few in this could be said to be ahead of the handicapper although CONTRAST does have some handicapping scope given that he’s been successful off much higher marks in the past and if his stamina holds out he has a good chance of completing a hat-trick. One or two of these will be only seen to best advantage if there is a strong pace with Trailboss and Dangerous Ends of interest if the race pans out that way the latter is probably better than he’s shown of late. A slight rise in the weights is likely to hamper the chance of Mullarkey from following up his last time course win but Fair Power could get back to winning ways with Near Kettering one to note if there are strong market vibes.
