All four career wins have come at this venue; two over this trip and two more over 7f. Faces no easy task though off eight-month absence and is usually better for a run or two after a break.
Landed Chepstow 6f h'cap penultimate start and creditable second at Pontefract last time. Clearly in good heart but still has a bit to prove no this surface so others make a little more appeal.
3-17 on turf but only had the one previous try on AW when sixth here over 5f this summer. Extra furlong will be more to his liking after being outclassed in hot race at Ayr last time. Not without hope.
Landed 6f Goodwood maiden in May 2018 for Charlie Hills but failed to build on that and was sold to current yard in July for 45,000 guineas. Last of 14 on debut for new connections at Newcastle after three-month break so has a bit to prove.
Beaten a short-head over C&D in January 2018 but essentially a 5f horse who has won here at that trip four times, including on penultimate start. 2lb lower than second here last week but not certain extra furlong will suit these days.
Only suiccess in 12 attempts came over 5f at Kempton for James GIven prior to joining current yard in July. Went close on heavy ground at Nottingham last time so may well enjoy it here and has claims despite 2lb rise.
First-time visor did the trick when winning over C&D in May. Returned from four-month summer break and ran well for a long way here last time before tiring over 7f. Drop back will suit and looks one for the shortlist.
Won 6f noivce event on debut at Carlisle last term but hasn't added to that in eight runs since; last four coming after wind surgery. 3lb lower than latest run but more needed if she is to figure.
Four wins in last 15 months on turf and makes AW debut here. Seems ideally suited by this trip and some give underfoot so quite possible he will take to the surface for yard still among the winners. Worth a market check.

Forecasts
Axe Axelrod (5/2), Airglow (10/3), Young John (9/2), Praxidice (5/1), Orange Blossom (11/2), Samovar (13/2), Liamba (10/1), Angel Palanas (14/1), Gullane One (16/1), Mutawaffer (33/1)
Back at her optimum trip, LIAMBA is taken to regain the winning thread having run with credit for a long way over 7f here last time after a four-month break. There are a number of dangers, including Gullane One and Axe Axelrod, both of whom tackle Fibresand for the first time and could go well if they handle this unique surface. Samovar loves it here but the jury is out on his step back up to 6f, while Orange Blossom may prove best of the rest.
