Maiden on turf with all nine wins coming on the AW, including four here (three over C&D). Better for switch back from turf and on a good mark down at this level. Dangerous if finding his form again.
Ran well on second start over this C&D for Paul Howling but well below that in three starts since. Perhaps a return to here could help but still hard to be confident in for new trainer.
Impressed in winning by 4½L in a 7f handicap at Wolverhampton in November. Very disappointing in three starts this year and remains 4lb higher than last win. Others preferred.
Up 4lb for latest C&D win where she ran on strongly and won going away. However it was won in a good time and a clear career-best. Previous two success also came here (both 6f) and still open to improvement. Leading hope.
Last win came over this C&D in December 2018 and now 1lb lower. Well below par on last three starts for Paul Howling and probably best watched for now on stable debut.
Returned from a 220-day absence with much improved efforts on the AW with a win and a second over 6f at Lingfield and Wolverhampton. Shaped as though worth another go at this trip and latest turf run worth forgetting.
Last AW win came over this C&D, albeit back in November 2016. Left some indifferent form this year behind when a neck second at Lingfield last time. Back up in grade and respected but this is tougher.
Has struggled to make an impression in four starts to date. Reared on leaving the stalls and denied a clear run so may improve up a furlong from handicap debut. However hard to be confident in.
Six-race maiden has been inconsistent in six starts so far but shaped with promise following a break when denied a clear run over 6f here last month. Dropped 2lb and on a potentially useful mark. Can be competitive.
Maiden showed some hints of promise early but lost his way on his final five starts for Michael Scudamore. Best watched on stable debut.
Just one win from 32 starts which came during a consistent run at the beginning of the year. Now 4lb lower but below par of late and hard to be confident in.
Forecasts
Magicinthemaking (4/1), Miaella (5/1), Holy Tiber (5/1), Vincenzo Coccotti (6/1), Kennocha (8/1), Pearl Spectre (8/1), Catapult (9/1), Majdool (9/1), Amaranth (10/1), Red Skye Delight (14/1), Obsession For Gold (16/1)
There was a lot to like about the way MAGICINTHEMAKING pulled away late on over this C&D when last seen in June and she has more upside than her rivals. Red Sky Delight caught the eye here over a furlong shorter and this looks a good opportunity to build on the run. Kennocha is a far better performer on the AW and can continue her progression switching back to a more suitable surface. Pearl Spectre is worth a check in the betting.
- Magicinthemaking
- Red Skye Delight
- Kennocha
