Newcomer from a yard where the juveniles generally need their first outing. Cost €135,000 as a yearling; half-sister to a couple of winners in Voice Of A Leader and Bayshore Freeway; stable 0-6 with 2yo this season, best watched for now.

Beat one home on her Windsor debut over 5f showing only inexperience and fading from around halfway. Clearly has plenty to find on that one outing so far; yard 0-23 with juveniles in the last five seasons; a watching brief advised.

Stable won a division of this last year; easy to back on debut this daughter of Dark Angel still showed plenty despite being less streetwise than the one that beat her. Form yet to be tested; based on the debut promise she showed has to a contender.

Hooded for her debut this daughter of Kingman has a nice pedigree down the distaff side (dam was a Group 3 winner). Yard not really fired at maximum capacity this year 2-18 with 2yo's (1-12 with newcomers); others marginally preferred.

Price rocketed up to 62,000 guineas when bought at the Breeze-Ups but given his debut run it may be a while before connections cash in. Well held at Bath over an extended 5f on quick ground he switches to the AW here; makes little appeal.

Shaped with a great deal of promise on her debut over 5f at Sandown when coming third before she was upped in grade to run in the Group 2 Queen Mary. Failed to cope with that test but has major claims returned to much calmer waters; first try on AW.

Has a pedigree that makes plenty of appeal (half-sister to three winners); showed plenty of ability on debut (well found in the market) but failed to see out the 7f at Newbury. Back to 6f now she could well step forward on her second start.
From a stable that are rare visitors to the winners enclosure with juveniles she made an unpromising start to her career. Looked very green and inexperienced and left will behind over 6f at Goodwood; hard to see her figuring in this.

Has a least won a race (5f seller at Goodwood) when with David Evans, sold out of that yard after winning that event for £8,000. Failed to even repeat that form on stable debut over 5f here on turf; hard to see her making an impression.

Forecasts

Dark Lady (11/10), Multiply By Eight (11/4), Onassis (7/2), Miss Paxman (6/1), Depose (10/1), Carmena (14/1), Penny Diamond (33/1), Kitos (33/1), Shani (40/1), Diva Rock (66/1), Casi Casi (100/1)

Verdict

None of the newcomers make that much appeal with both Depose and Carmena coming from stables that are not noted for winning with their juvenile debutantes. Multiply By Eight ran an eye-catching race on her debut before she was highly tried in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot a step up to 6f may suit her well while Onassis is another who could be suited by this trip coming back in distance. DARK LADY and Miss Paxman clashed in a 6f novice at Newbury in what looks a useful contest finishing second and fourth respectively now switched to the AW those placings are expected to be confirmed this time around.
  1. Dark Lady
  2. Miss Paxman
  3. Multiply By Eight
