Improved upon showings as a two-year-old when making respectable enough return in a Wolverhampton (7f; standard) novice and finishing runner-up to a warm odds-on favourite. May be tough to catch if same front-running tactics are employed once more.
Newcomer by Mazameer. Gelded ahead of debut. Stable not known for success with newcomers/two-year-olds. Others possess more obvious claims so best to look elsewhere.
Unable to land a blow at Nottingham (1m; good to firm). Drops in trip and makes AW debut, but this is a step up in class which should prove too hot to handle. Best watched on the basis of what he showed on debut.
Tailed off on debut at Chepstow (1m; good) last week. Mammoth task ahead of him if he is to feature after showing virtually nothing then. Rates more as a handicap project.
Hard to fault his consistency and despite the fact he has been turned over as favourite four times out of six career starts, he still holds the best form in this race by some way. Dropped in class, and should make it seventh time lucky.
Could only manage midfield on debut at Wolverhampton (6f; standard). Steps up to 7f now, but this is a stronger race. Of interest when moving into the handicap sphere but set to battle it out for the minor placings here.
Took a backward step from promising debut run recently when eighth of 11 at Wolverhampton (1m; standard). Drops back down in trip now which needs to have a majorly positive effect.
Five-race maiden who is becoming frustrating. While the return to the AW offers hope for a far better effort than she produced on her seasonal reappearance at Sandown (1m1f; good to firm), she lacks the potential of others in the lineup.
Newcomer by Mayson. Trainer/jockey combo not amongst winners at present, but she is related to a few winners (albeit over further than this trip).
Drops in trip to 7f, and not beaten too far on second career start at Chepstow (1m; good) last week. This is slightly easier than the first two assignments she has been tasked with which gives her a live chance.

There are plenty in here who can be ruled out with the minimum of fuss, but that statement cannot be applied to QUTOB who is a confident selection. He holds by far and away the strongest form on offer in this contest and has his sights lowered this evening. After front-running tactics were adopted last time, Aluqair caught the eye when not beaten far behind a well-regarded sort, and he should go close if he is allowed to lead again. He can prove next best ahead of Soft Cover who is also likely to feature at the business end of the race after faring well in a pair of decent maidens.
