Has failed to beat a rival in four starts since switching yards earlier in the season. Did score four times in 2018 though, with one of his wins coming off a mark of 80. Would be dangerous if he bounces back to form. Others preferred.
Was successful at Thirsk over this distance back in May. Has been unable to follow that up since then, but he did go close two days ago at Thirsk (6f) when second of 18. Remains off that same mark. One for shortlist.
Won over this C&D last time in what was his second victory in three starts. The handicapper has kept him off the same mark as his latest success. Big chance to follow up here and continue his excellent form of late.
Remains a maiden after seven races. His best effort came on the AW at Newcastle (5f) when he was second of six last September, beaten by just ½l. Still a lot to prove on turf on what will be his first run back since November.
Still looking for his first win after eight starts. Hit the frame a couple of times as a two-year-old. Missed the whole of his three-year-old campaign. Returned to action back in April but has struggled on both of his starts. Needs to bounce back.
Broke his maiden three starts back at Windsor (5f) and then went close to following it up when second of 10 at Redcar over the same distance, beaten by just ½l. Struggled last time out at Haydock on soft ground. Strong claims with faster conditions.
Has been in excellent form on the AW with four wins coming in 2019, while he was third of 14 last time at Newcastle (6f). Back on turf where he is 0-7. Has to be respected given his recent results but still has something to prove on this surface.
Still looking for her maiden success after 11 starts but went close a couple of times at the back of 2018. She produced her best run of the season so far last time when fourth of eight at Wolverhampton (5f) on the AW. Each-way claims.
Returned to the winner's enclosure recently with victory coming at Redcar (5f) where she led inside the final 1f after a patient ride. Has gone up 2lb for her latest success but she has been rated much higher during her career. Leading contender.
A C&D winner who did prevail on the AW at Southwell (5f) earlier this year. His form on turf has not been great this season. Could only finish 15th of 17 last time at Thirsk (5f). Has to bounce back. Others preferred.
A C&D winner who almost added another success at this trip here last time when second of 15 behind Ginger of Jam. He has gone down 1lb for that run so has a good chance of reversing the form on this occasion.
Showed a lot of promise as a two-year-old with success coming over this distance at Thirsk. Has taken a huge stride backwards this season where on his latest run he was last of 17 at Doncaster (6f). Hard to make a case for.
Still bidding for his first win after 25 starts. Ran modestly well when fourth of 10 on the AW at Wolverhampton (5f) on his opening start of the year. Been midfield on his three starts since then. Needs to improve to be in the mix.
Was on the right side of a close finish at Wolverhampton (5f) on the AW back in January for her maiden success. She has hit the frame twice since then on the AW but has struggled on turf. Has something to prove on this surface.
Hit the frame earlier this year on the AW at Southwell (6f) but has struggled on turf, including latest where he was fifth of 11 in a seller at Hamilton (5f). Not one that stands out on what we have seen so far.
Her sole success came as a novice at Nottingham (5f) in 2016. Since then she has rarely been competitive. She was a long way down the field last time out at Redcar (5f) when 10th of 14. Very difficult to make claims for.

GINGER JAM won over this C&D just 10 days ago and he has a great chance to repeat that success today as he remains off the same mark. The four-year-old looks to be continuing to progress, therefore, there may even more to come from the gelding as he bids to continue his recent hot form. Cuppacoco was back to her best recently at Thirsk where she timed her run perfectly to get up late on. A 2lb rise isn't likely to hamper her chances much here, while Pearl Noir went close over this C&D last time when second and should be there at the finish once again.

- Cuppacoco
