Winner of this race 12 months ago and clearly enjoys it here with a 4-8 C&D record. Disappointment latest surely due to soft ground but ran well the time before and big chance given he's 6lb lower than win last year.
Made seasonal reappearance in a devilishly competitive handicap at York (7f; good to firm). Return to 6f should be much more to his liking and has got some good course form albeit back in 2014.
Been hugely progressive on AW since joining this yard with four wins in six on synthetics. Close Newbury third two starts back suggested progress can be mirrored on turd and latest effort maybe down to 7f; headgear removed today.
Won twice this season since being gelded with Newbury win three starts back particularly persuasive. Close third latest more solid form and with 1lb back today he looks sure to make his presence felt.
Debuted for this yard with a good fourth in a competitive 6f handicap at Newmarket (good; 18-1) in May, though didn't build on that since with C&D run 15 days later (hampered at crucial stage). May do better here.
Dual 5½f Bath scorer last season started her 2019 season with a pleasing fourth behind Equitation here last month. Should strip fitter now and possibilities given she's just 2lb higher than latest win which was by 6L.
Been in excellent form in 2019 and won over C&D two starts back before being collared in the final few strides in bid to follow up here latest. This is tougher but he's too consistent to ignore and will surely be in the shake-up again.

Forecasts
Equitation (11/4), Embour (7/2), Ice Age (5/1), Show Stealer (5/1), Walk On Walter (11/2), Udontdodou (7/1), Polybius (8/1), Victory Angel (16/1)
Forget his latest flop on soft ground which has been shown not to suit before because ICE AGE, who won this race last year is now clearly well handicapped and with a 50% C&D strike rate he makes plenty of appeal despite this being really competitive. Back on turf and back to his C&D winning mark from a series final last August, Udontdodou is also worth serious consideration. Also clearly at home on this coyrse is Equitation whose latest two runs have both come here; a win and a close second.
