Footstepsinthesand colt cost €30,000 as a foal and €27,000 as a yearling; ran well (third) in a 6f Thirsk maiden (good; 6-4f) on debut this month and needs considering with experience banked.

€26,000 yearling by Panis (sire of Sands of Mali) out of a French maiden; yard's juveniles flying. Never got involved on debut at Carlisle (6f, soft; 12-1) but likely can do much better before long.

Half-brother to dual winning sprinter With Caution; pair of modest runs under his belt including over 6f here last time. More demanded going up in trip to get competitive.

Sea The Moon colt, interesting pedigree. Ran well for a long way on debut at Newmarket (6f, good to firm; 20-1) last month and should be capable of progressing.

By Roderic O'Connor out of a dam who won over 6f-7f, slowly away on debut at Carlisle (6f, soft; 14-1) and never a threat. May need some time on that evidence.

Yard doesn't boast a strong record with this age-group, failed to beat anything home on debut at Newbury last month and best watched on that showing.

Half-brother to three winners, including useful winner up to 1m3f Summer Fall and winner up to 7½f Areos. May need this first outing.

Daughter of Kodiac, boasts a sprint pedigree, sent off 66-1 for last month's debut at Thirsk (5f, good) and was never on terms. Big improvement needed on second run.

Sir Prancealot filly has shaped with purpose in three turf starts over 5f/6f so far, can take a hand in the finish here if handling this surface first time of asking.

10,000 gns yearling, Intello filly. Dam, unraced, closely related to very smart 6f-1m winner Sayif. Yard going well, worth a market check.

Has winners in her pedigree, showed slightly more on second start when midfield over 6f here earlier in the month; now must take another step forward to be involved.

Forecasts

Governor Of Punjab (6/4), Jungle Book (11/4), Glory Maker (3/1), Galispeed (9/2), Milltown Star (12/1), Indra Dawn (12/1), Bacchalot (14/1), Mac Mccarthy (16/1), Gladice (20/1), Sparkling Diamond (33/1), Pilsdon Pen (50/1), Banmi (66/1), Star Of St Louis (100/1)

Verdict

Galispeed is an interesting newcomer and any market traction would have to be respected but the standard is probably set by GOVERNOR OF PUNJAB who was well-backed on debut at Thirsk and ran a pleasing race. That experience should stand to him now as he looks to get off the mark. Bacchalot can also go well while Glory Maker, Indra Dawn and Jungle Book are potential improvers.

  2. Galispeed
  3. Bacchalot
