Debut run was promising but the colt has dipped well below that form twice since. Now has a good bit to prove.
Shown ability but has been well held in all three previous starts; not harshly treated for her handicap debut but it'll be surprising if at least one of the others isn't more progressive.
Won a novice stakes at Kempton last October but held under the revised marks so far this term. Dropped 3lb since her last run but still has something to prove.
Won from the same mark at Wolverhampton in March but form on turf (and indeed the AW) has been moderate since. Another who arrives with a little to find on recent evidence.
0-8 so far and form on turf has been modest at best. Been given a chance by the assessor but still plenty to prove.
Hinted at ability but was never in contention in a similar race over C&D last time and needs to improve greatly for the fitting of cheekpieces.
Well held in all starts so far; including when tried over this trip for the first time at Newmarket last month. Tongue tied for the first time but hard to recommend (was a 100/1 outsider latest).
Plenty of winners in her pedigree and already has course experience; ran well when third here in April and would have solid claims if running to that level again. Not harshly treated for her handicap debut.
Well beaten on handicap debut last month and even a 5lb lower mark isn't enough to tempt more than a cautionary look in the betting.
A dual winner on the AW last winter and is effective over this trip. Might have been in need of the run on her seasonal debut last month and has to be of interest back on turf from just 1lb above her last win on the Polytrack.
Won well on her first attempt over this trip when tried at Wetherby in April and looks to be the better hope from the stable's duo here (also send out Sweet Poem). 5lb higher but going the right way and merits serious consideration.
Ran well over C&D in April but her latest start was too bad to be true when she finished last of nine at Chepstow in early May. Down 2lb but right to have reservations after such a low-key effort. The betting can guide.
Not shown much to inspire confidence of victorious handicap debut being imminent. Others preferred despite the good form of her stable.
0-14 and never tried this trip before. Has gone well over the sprint course here but this looks a much stiffer ask.
Forecasts
Leo Davinci (5/1), Remembering You (11/2), Rachel Zane (6/1), Poet's Magic (6/1), Venusta (7/1), Toybox (10/1), Elegant Love (12/1), Renardeau (12/1), Illywhacker (14/1), Sweet Poem (16/1), Padura Brave (20/1), Kadiz (20/1), Lynchpin (33/1), Rock Up In Style (40/1)
RACHEL ZANE ran well here in April and is probably a lot better than she showed last time out. Her debut handicap mark is far from prohibitive and leaves the filly with plenty of room to move. Remembering You breezed through her first attempt at a mile to win at Wetherby last month and she has to be respected even though a 5lb higher mark counts against her. Padura Brave is reasonably well treated and, along with Poet's magic, is worth bearing in mind for a place in the frame.
