Won a claimer over C&D two starts back before struggling latest in a class 5 handicap. Not prolific by any means but best form would give him a shout.
Third here in only previous visit and comes here on the back of a career-best when third at Wolverhampton in a selling handicap. Similar effort here would put him in the mix.
Hat-trick seeker after back-to-back C&D wins and won three of last five here in all. Only upped 2lb for win last time and every chance therefore that he lands the hat-trick.
Twice-placed 10-race maiden has some pieces of form that would give him good place claims at least but given he's on Fibresand for the first time today others are more compelling.
15 races and 18 months now since his lone win on stable bow and for all there are some fair efforts in the losing run there are more uninspiring ones.
Has won here in the past but out of sorts latest after a break when 11th of 12. Hopefully improve on that effort with fitness now boosted but will need a quantum leap forward.
C&D winner seems to save best form for here nowadays but after a good second he was 12L behind Jazz Legend here on his last visit. Better than he showed there but reversal hard to envisage.
Won twice for Charlie Hills in 2017 but nothing since. Best form in 2018 would give her a squeak off this mark however and Lethal Force progeny often excel on Fibresand.
Won 10 races although now on a losing run of over two years. Close third to Jazz Legend over C&D penultimately reads well and as usual wouldn't put anyone off an each-way investment.
Behind Jazz Legend last fall but run well in last two visits here. Is capable of going well off his current mark although always appeals more for a place.
Has on occasions run well enough on this surface but a career record of 2-68 hardly inspires confidence and he is 0-8 here. Form is inconsistent but hard to fancy after latest C&D ninth of 14.
Remains a maiden after 11 starts and has a huge amount to find on balance of form so far. Best efforts have come here but they are still short of the required level.
Regular visitor to this track (a five-time Southwell scorer); hasn't done enough in recent starts to suggest a return to winning ways is imminent.

Forecasts
Jazz Legend (7/2), Essential (5/1), Space War (11/2), Falcao (13/2), Loulin (11/1), Queen Of Kalahari (12/1), Haader (12/1), The Gingerbreadman (14/1), Dark Confidant (14/1), Fortinbrass (16/1), Dream Ally (16/1), Danish Duke (25/1), Blistering Dancer (33/1), Coiste Bodhar (40/1)
JAZZ LEGEND is in great form and there is no obvious reason he can't continue the winning streak here in this modest contest with just a 2lb rise for his last win. Of the rest Haader may be improving so is a likely sort and likable veteran Space War makes plenty of each-way appeal.
- Jazz Legend
- Haader
- Space War
