Gained her third C&D win here on her penultimate start (won her first two starts over C&D); took advantage of a drop in the weights on the latest occasion. Totally blew the start here last time over C&D; always behind, run best ignored.
Won a maiden over C&D on his debut on Fibresand (run respectably in two subsequent C&D outings. Generally quite a useful handicapper; now returns for his seasonal debut (has run well off an absence before); on a decent mark.
Enjoyed a productive 2018 with four handicap wins over the minimum trip coming his way the last off this very mark (78). Now has to prove not only his effectiveness on Fibresand but also off a long absence; could have been drawn better.
No worries on the surface for him already having three C&D victories to his name; two of them coming this year. Yet to taste success in this grade (has run with credit at this level); suspicion that the handicapper may be catching up with him.
Quirky sort who isn't the most reliable but is capable on his day; C&D winner. Failed to build on that C&D effort although he is 4lb below that winning mark; showed little on his first start for his new yard; quickly reverts to a favoured surface.
No experience of this surface although his pedigree gives some encouragement; something new tried after he went winless last season. Well handicapped if he does handle the test and cope with the absence having ended last year in good style.
Has a terrific C&D record (3211331) recording her third victory here when defeating Warrior's Valley (forged clear). Should be closer at the weights this time around although a 5lb rise in the handicap is unlikely to prevent another bold bid.
Dual C&D winner but has developed a few quirks particularly an aversion to starting on terms which makes him a miss rather than hit character. Started well enough last time but no guarantee he will this; one to be cautious with.
