Supported and made a promising start when beaten just over 4L into fourth at Windsor (5f, good) recently. Can come on for that run, and from a good draw here, he should be a major player.
10,000gns yearling. Third foal. Half-brother to 5f AW winner Miracle Works. Dam 6f-1m2f winner (inc at 2). In good hands, and very much worth a market check from a reasonable draw.
6,000gns yearling. Second foal. Brother to Northern Society, placed 5f-6f at two. Dam placed 6f-1m (inc at two/AW). Has a poor draw to contend with and stable not noted for debut juvenile winners.
6,000gns foal, £5,000 yearling (not sold £3,800 yearling). Half-brother to Norwegian 5½-6f 2yo winner Pretty Picture. Dam placed 6f-1m at two. Probably one to watch on debut, unless coming in for significant market support.
€6,000 yearling. Second foal. Dam unplaced 7f-1m4f, half-sister to French 1m2f Listed winner Safe And Sound and 7f-1m3½f winner Hollow Green. Has drawn the inside rail, but pedigree suggests he may not have the speed to take advantage.
£6,000 yearling. Seventh foal. Half-brother to AW winners Calorie (1m) & True Course (5f AW 2yo). Dam 5f winner (inc at 2/Listed), sister to 5f/7f winner Apace. Stable in reasonably good form, despite 2yos being quiet so far. Market check.
£800 yearling. Second foal. Dam last all starts 5f-7½f, closely related to 6f-7f AW winner Delft, out of 7f winning half-sister to 5f 2yo Group 2 winner Wunders Dream and 1m Group 3 winner Grecian Dance. Poor draw and probably one to watch on debut.
Supported from 100-1 into 40-1 ahead of her debut at Redcar (5f, good) last week, when beaten just over 7L into sixth. Can improve for that experience, but whether that will be enough to make a serious challenge remains to be seen.
(5,000gns vendor yearling). Fifth foal. Half-sister to Italian 7f winner Il Malandrino (inc 2yo). Dam unraced half-sister to eight winners inc Mine (smart 7f-1m) and King Midas (useful 6f/7f). In good hands. Could be better drawn, but check market.
(£8,000 vendor Y). Third foal. Half-sister to 6f 2yo winner Don Armado. Dam triple 5f Fibresand winner, sister to useful 6f winner Pay Freeze. Only the stable's second 2yo runner, and probably one to watch first time.
Forecasts
Gin Gembre (5/4), Troubador (4/1), Lili Wen Fach (6/1), Noddy Shuffle (8/1), Puerto Sol (12/1), Rodnee Tee (14/1), Jakodobro (20/1), Vodka Dawn (25/1), Nostalgic Air (25/1), Comeatchoo (50/1)
Less experience for us to consider than in the opening division and the suggestion is GIN GEMBRE, who is taken to improve for his debut and take advantage of a good draw. Rodnee Tee looks an interesting newcomer drawn next door, while Troubador is another debutant of note. Nostalgic Air is from a prolific family, and may be capable of a respectable debut, despite not having the best of draws.
- Gin Gembre
- Rodnee Tee
- Troubador
