Not disgraced last time on second start following a 466-day absence. Infrequent winner but has dropped to a very low mark and could go well.
C&D winner off 4lb lower back in April on last start for Alan Bailey but well beaten on stable debut when last seen in August. Remains best watched.
Decent second off this mark at Newbury in July but then disappointing next twice. Yet to win in 16 starts on the AW and others preferred following an absence.
On a competitive mark but form regressed at the beginning of last year and refused to load on last intended run back in March. Hard to fancy following a lengthy absence.
Failed to stay 2m½f but off the mark back at this trip at Wolverhampton. Travelled well and battled on strongly and has plenty more to offer off just 2lb higher.
Consistent performer but frustratingly remains a maiden despite a few near misses after 14 starts. Unlikely to be far away once again with blinkers replacing usual visor.
Tailed off over hurdles but had shown promise on the Flat previously with her best efforts coming here. C&D looks ideal and on a competitive mark.
Veteran with 13 career successes although both AW wins came at Lingfield. Looked regressive when last seen and a near year absence to overcome.
12-race maiden and has looked a touch one-paced but not disgraced when fourth at Wolverhampton and place possibilities off a career-low mark.
Infrequent winner on the turf and remains an AW maiden. Needs to find more after two below-par runs and has yet to convince at this far.
Left previous UK form behind when a first-time hood (retained) extracted improvement last time over 1m2f. Extra distance may help and can be competitive if headgear has the same effect.
17-race maiden under both codes but had looked to be moving in the right direction on a couple of runs in August before two poor efforts. Hasn't shaped well on previous visits here and others preferred.
Better effort when fourth in low-grade handicap on just her second start for current stable. However this is tougher and she hasn't looked in need of this step up in trip.
Yet to find her best trip but went close to losing her maiden tag over this distance at Lingfield. Didn't get a clear run when unsuited by 1m2f at Chelmsford and can't be discounted on course debut back up in distance.
Forecasts
Apex Predator (11/4), Arlecchino's Arc (6/1), Murhib (7/1), Demophon (8/1), Sark (9/1), Sheila's Empire (10/1), Mistress Nellie (11/1), Lady Of York (12/1), Altaira (14/1), Gift From God (25/1), Loving Your Work (25/1), Estibdaad (33/1), River Rule (50/1), Meetings Man (100/1)
Sark is hard to win with but should be spot on following two runs since a lengthy absence. MISTRESS NELLIE was only just headed late on over this trip two starts back and has more to offer as it probably pays to put a line through her last run. There was a lot to like about the win of Apex Predator and he has more successes in him at this low level.
- Mistress Nellie
- Apex Predator
- Sark
