Brother to the 1m AW juvenile winner Native Appeal; low-key so far, with his best run coming at Musselburgh (7f) in August when finishing a weakening fifth of nine to Caballero; AW debut.
50,000gns yearling; one-paced fifth of ten at Beverley (5f novice) last month, but should prove better suited by a switch to nursery company; AW debut.
£6,000 yearling; has picked up steadily since making a relatively modest debut at Beverley (5f) in August; 50/1 when finishing 6L fourth to Red Saree in a 5f Pontefract median auction maiden latest; handicap/AW debut.
Fairly consistent on the whole without necessarily looking like a winner in waiting; finished a weakening sixth of nine on nursery debut at Lingfield (5f) last month.
Garswood filly who finished just ½L behind Chitra (Highjacked third) on nursery debut at Redcar (6f) last month, and is now 2lb better off; subsequently has finished second to decisive winner Windy Guest on AW debut at Chelmsford 13 days ago.
Well related filly; sister to the 5f winner Roundhay Park; has shaped encouragingly in novice races without quite troubling the judge; noteworthy if the market speaks with confidence on AW and nursery debut.
Thriving since introduced to handicaps, beat Kermouster by ½L at Redcar in September, and was only denied by a short-head off this mark at Catterick (6f) last week; key player with this stable also saddling a winner (Outrage) here last week.
Placed over 6f at Ripon in August, but has taken a few backward steps since then and that form isn't the strongest; vulnerable on AW debut, and seemingly held by Chitra on recent Catterick form.
Beaten 11L when finishing third at 150/1 in a 7f+ Beverley novice last month; weakened quickly after racing keenly on nursery debut at Ayr (1m) latest; drop in trip a plus for AW debut, but still rates as most unlikely.
Eight-race maiden (including in five AW starts); dropped 4lb since finishing a weakening 8L fifth of 14 to Hard Taskmaster over 7f here in September.
Five-race maiden; 9/1 when finishing a weakening 11th of 13 to My Ukulele over 7f here last month.
Half-sister to the 1m-1m2f AW winner Hefner; showed very little in either of her first two starts, but minimal improvement when finishing just under 5L fourth of nine (150/1) to Lexington Palm at Carlisle (6f); nursery/AW debut.
Half-brother to the 1m-1m2f winner Alfred Richardson; clear best effort when finishing 1¾L third (40/1) to tonight's rivals Chitra and Kermouster on nursery debut at Redcar (6f, good) in September; reverts back to the AW.
Well beaten at sizeable odds on all three starts in novice company, and although unduly inconvenienced by the widest draw at Chester (6f) latest, makes little appeal now switched to nurseries.
Forecasts
Chitra (13/8), No Bills (6/1), Highjacked (7/1), Alotabottle (9/1), Kermouster (9/1), Dawn Affair (14/1), Micronize (18/1), Gainsborough Hat (18/1), Amelia R (20/1), Giacomo Casanova (22/1), Supreme Dream (50/1), Mattymiller (66/1), Our Secret (80/1), Pritty Livvy (100/1)
Forever wary of a potential rapid improver for the switch to handicapping, it could pay to keep a close eye upon the likes of Gainsborough Hat, Alotabottle and No Bills in the early market exchanges, but on all known form this is best left to CHITRA and Kermouster. That pair were split by just half a length (Highjacked third) when slugging it out at Redcar (6f) last month. Both fillies have continued to progress since, filling the runner up spot at Catterick and Chelmsford respectively, but the Daniel Kubler-trained filly is marginally favoured tonight on account of a better draw in stall 13.
- Chitra
- Kermouster
- No Bills
