A winner on debut at Nottingham and produced a smart effort on his second career start when placed in a Listed race at Longchamp. Has struggled in two starts since but this is easier and draw well if he reverts to front-running tactics.

A winner on debut as a juvenile at York but losing run since stands at 11. Best effort for some time when runner-up at Newmarket last time but needs to build on that now.

Won his maiden at Newcastle in January and returned with a win at Redcar on turf debut in May. Went off the boil a little after a good second at Haydock but signs a return to form may be imminent over C&D last time. Different ground here.

All his best career efforts have come at Chester including both his wins. Probably wants quicker ground than what he will get here and well beaten on his last couple of starts.

All his best efforts have come on soft or heavy ground. Too keen at Chester last time and others probably better handicapped but drop back in trip should help at least.

Won on debut at Salisbury and second to a nice prospect at Carlisle on second outing. Easy winner at Hamilton when last seen and if he takes another step forward, it's likely he will be able to defy his opening handicap mark.

Won when trained in France and has run well in defeat on several outings this year, though not at his best here last time out. Possibly a little vulnerable from a handicapping perspective.

Improving steadily with each start and belatedly got his head in front at Ffos Las last time out. 3lb out of the handicap here though and would need a sizable step forward this time.

Forecasts

Jamil (5/2), Dream Today (10/3), Sod's Law (9/2), Completion (6/1), M C Muldoon (8/1), Mr Top Hat (14/1), Autretot (14/1), International Man (14/1), Dragons Tail (16/1)

Verdict

JAMIL is expected to be hard to beat with his unexposed profile and given the form the yard are in this autumn, he will be hard to beat. Completion ran okay over course and distance last time and remains capable of better but Dream Today could be the main danger after an improved effort at Newmarket.
