Winner over 6f here in January, suspicion he'll find this trip sharp enough now, despite beating no less then Brando to win a 5f York maiden all the way back in 2014.
Twice went close over 5f on the AW at Chelmsford in May (rated 87) and has run some good races on turf over the summer. Can go well back in this sphere.
All three career wins have come at Ascot, most recently on debut for current yard over 6f (good to firm) in May. Capable on AW but this trip may not be what he wants these days.
Coming good lately and duly won over 5f on good ground at Musselburgh 24 days ago, races from an 8lb higher mark on just second AW start.
Previous two efforts have been much more like it, going close at Redcar and Doncaster (5f, good to firm), both off this mark. Likely can get his head in front soon.
Winner over 6f here last summer, figures of 2223 since, including neck defeat over this trip in January off this mark. Returns from a break having run poorly in two turf starts in May and needs to be on his game.
C&D winner last year, went close again in April (rated 70), has won twice in five starts on turf since and run well each time. Held latest at Thirsk off this career-high mark but should be involved back here.
Three-time AW winner last winter, including over this C&D. Went well at Chelmsford (5f) earlier in the month and capable of getting in the mix once more back on this favourable surface.
Landed a hat trick of wins at this track earlier in the year over 6f but is another that appears to have found handicap opportunities are limited. Place claims at the weights but recent form has been poor and needs to up his game considerably.
Had a good 2017 which included three turf wins over 5f/6f but not in anywhere near the same form this campaign and hard to fancy despite dropping another 3lb in the ratings.
Ended 2017 campaign in blistering form on turf, winning five of last six starts, all over 5f. Shot up more than 20lb in doing so. Market may give a better club as to what is anticipated on first AW handicap start (0-3 in maidens).
Three-time C&D scorer late last year and early in 2018, now back on a mark just 1lb higher than most recent of those and needs considering having won at Catterick (5f, good to firm) from much lower turf mark last week.
Eight-year-old with 7-70 career record, though just 1-16 on artificial surfaces. Well held from 3lb higher at Wolverhampton this month and others seems more likely to be claiming the prize.
Excellent record on the AW, with eight wins and 13 placed efforts in 53 starts. C&D win in March was off this mark, but most of recent efforts on turf/AW have been laboured so requires a bounce back.
Forecasts
Poyle Vinnie (3/1), East Street Revue (4/1), Handsome Dude (6/1), Jabbarockie (7/1), Monks Stand (12/1), Moonraker (14/1), Tricky Dicky (14/1), Crosse Fire (14/1), Jack The Truth (14/1), Excessable (16/1), Boundsy (20/1), Pearl Acclaim (40/1), Ebitda (50/1), Normal Equilibrium (100/1)
An open contest and one where a chance is afforded to EAST STREET REVUE. He's gone close in recent starts at Redcar and Doncaster and will surely be in their pitching over this longer trip if handling this surface. Former C&D scored Poyle Vinnie needs a second look too after a fair effort in the Stewards' Cup, though the long losing run is a concern. Excessable is 8lb higher after a win at Musselburgh, while Jack The Truth is always liable to mount a challenge on a track where he's won three times.
