Scored win at Epsom and Brighton last summer over similar trips, goes on any ground and potentially going to strip fitter having had a run at Brighton last month. Remains 2lb above previous winning mark.
Dual turf winner last year at Yarmouth, though failed to fire in visits to this venue. Remains 4 lb above last winning mark ahead of return from 170-day layoff and was below form on the AW when last spotted.
Course winner. Latest win at Lingfield in December, shaped well enough at Doncaster (1m2f, good to firm) recently. Should be in the mix.
Lightly-raced sort, has run well both turf starts this season including when opening account at Leicester (1m, good to soft) last month. Raised 5lb for the win, there's likely more to come yet.
Four-time C&D winner. Made all the running to score at Bath (1m, good) 17 days ago, likely to get involved again having been nudged up 3lb for that success.
Oasis Dream colt, won a mile handicap at Chepstow in May 2017 off a mark of 72. Hasn't really looked like adding to tally since and has 5¼L to make up on Sir Plato after recent Bath meeting.
Former C&D winner, has finished second twice already this season (including here) and again ran well since in defeat at Lingfield (1m1f, good to soft) most recently. Capable of being in the shake-up.
Winner at Bath over a mile in August, mostly out of sorts since however, including when 7L last of seven behind Sir Plato at that track recently. Plenty on his plate to turn things around.

Forecasts
Shadow Warrior (9/4), Kingston Kurrajong (11/4), Secret Return (3/1), Sir Plato (9/2), Harlequin Striker (9/2), Blaze Of Hearts (10/1), Arctic Sea (10/1), Lord Clenaghcastle (16/1), Mister Musicmaster (50/1)
SIR PLATO made all the running to score at Bath last time, rallying strongly to deny a rival that has won since. He will be a tough nut to crack if getting to dictate things up top again over a C&D where he has won four times. Another former C&D winner is Kingston Kurrajong, who goes unpenalised for an AW win at Kempton recently and has to rate a big danger. Secret Return is going the right way and should be in the firing line despite a ratings hike while Shadow Warrior also appears on the shortlist.
- Sir Plato
- Kingston Kurrajong
- Secret Return
