Had previously shown up well but then appeared to lose his way before bouncing back to form in the middle of last year; made all in first-time cheekpieces. Raised in the weights on the back of that win the new mark proved beyond him; tough task now.
Remained in good heart for most of last year winning a couple of handicaps although he does remain above his last winning mark. Form rather tailed off towards the end of last year; may do better for a winter break but likely to need this.
Has a very solid overall profile from last year (only out of the frame once) and scored over this C&D (3lb lower mark). Disappointed when last seen over hurdles and now with a new yard; has run well when fresh before.
Only recently back from a long break having shown some solid form prior to that absence winning a 1m4f Newmarket handicap off 82. His comeback run was a cautious one but he went well enough over this trip; may do better over further.
Lightly-raced sort who has only managed one run in each of his previous two seasons (won on debut as a juvenile). Broke down lame only run last year but returned better than ever to land Kempton (1m) novice; clearly useful (handicap debut).
Formerly with Brian Ellison he joined this stable in November (first run for them today). Form has rather an uneven look to it after his Newmarket (1m2f, good) win last year when he landed a gamble. Suspicion that there's more to come from him.
Bounced back to form last time out over this trip at Lingfield (ridden closer to the pace than usual) showing that he's as good as ever. Showed nothing on his only turf start (over C&D) and has to prove that he can transfer his AW form to turf.
Showed some promise last time on his first run for this yard having been (unsuccessfully) tried over hurdles. Despite running on Fibresand last time he has some turf form and will be suited by a return to this trip off the same mark; interesting.
Looks a better horse on the AW (4/15) versus his 0/4 record on turf although his last two efforts on synthetics have been poor and failed to build on his last win. Well below his AW mark here but has to prove that he can act on turf.

There are a few interesting sorts lurking towards the foot of the handicap. COME ON COME ON can’t have been easy to train but he looks to have plenty of ability and a good attitude and he could well be better than a mark of 81 making his handicap debut. Bid Adieu is another lightly-raced sort who looks as though he’ll be suited by this trip and he to can make his mark. Roar is now with Roger Charlton and very much has the make and shape of one who could do better as a four-year-old with some scope left in his mark. Both Ourmullion and Tangramm have proved themselves to be useful on the AW and race off tempting turf marks here but they do have to prove themselves on turf.
