Well held on each of his last three outings of 2017. Races off a mark 10lb lower than for his most recent success and is making his seasonal debut in this.
Successful six times here including over C&D in a claiming contest on good-to-firm ground in August. Held on seasonal debut but likely to fare better back at this venue.
Hamilton maiden winner on good-to-soft ground over 6f in September last year but disappointing since and well held on seasonal debut last time. Wears cheekpieces for the first time.
Dual winner but well beaten on both starts since joining this stable and failed to beat a rival home at Musselburgh (7f, good-to-firm) on Friday.
Broke his maiden when winning over 1m2f at Nottingham (good) last July. Held twice subsequently and this drop in trip isn't certain to suit on seasonal debut.
Seven race maiden but ran well to finish 2L third over 1m at Newcastle on his debut for this yard. Interesting to see how he fares on his return to turf.
Winner of a maiden at Newbury (7f, good-to-soft) in September 2016 but disappointing since and well beaten on debut for this yard recently.
Placed twice here since winning at Musselburgh (good-to-firm) in August. Races off a mark 4lb higher than for that latest victory and worth a check in the market here.
Fair fourth on seasonal debut at Doncaster (7f, soft) last time out. Interesting to see if he can build on that in this contest.
Struggled in three starts since winning over 7f at Redcar (good-to-soft) in October. Remains on a mark 2lb higher than for that latest success.
Well beaten in two starts on the AW this year. Handicap mark is falling as a result and she was placed off a 7lb higher mark over C&D last June.
Placed off a 7lb higher mark at Ripon (1m, good) last August but disappointing since and probably best watched at present.
Made a winning debut for this yard in a 7f handicap at Southwell in January. Has run well on the AW since but could finish only mid-division on his return to turf last time out.
Good effort in finishing runner-up at Thirsk (7f, good-to-soft) last week but disappointed in a first time tongue tie (left off here) at Newcastle subsequently. One to note in this contest.
Handicap mark is falling following a number of defeats on the AW. Races off a mark 9lb lower than when placed over 6f at Newmarket (soft) last August.
Well held in two starts since joining this yard from Richard Fahey. Worth a check in the market racing from out of the handicap.
Forecasts
Tadaany (5/1), Nature Boy (6/1), Hitman (10/1), Make On Madam (10/1), Warrior's Spirit (10/1), Jessinamillion (10/1), Relight My Fire (12/1), Supreme Power (12/1), Essential (12/1), Talent Scout (14/1), Aelius (14/1), Vincenzo Coccotti (14/1), Chiswick Bey (20/1), Count Montecristo (20/1), Hernando Torres (25/1), Shamaheart (25/1)
NATURE BOY ran well when making his debut for this yard at Newcastle in March and he can make a winning return to turf in this competitive looking handicap. The selection remains unexposed on turf having had just the two starts on this surface and he can get the better of Supreme Power who can put a disappointing effort last week behind him by taking second. Of the remainder Talent Scout ran well on seasonal debut and the veteran who usually runs well here can claim third on this occasion.
- Nature Boy
- Supreme Power
- Talent Scout
