Veteran performer who is running off his lowest mark for six years. Only picked up late on most recent start here and a repeat performance would see him on the premises again.
Justified favouritism to win at Yarmouth (5f, good to firm) eight days ago. Up in the weights for that win but riders claim offsets most of it and chances of a follow up on this easier ground.
Ran with real credit here on a couple of occasions back in August so capable off this mark. Has has a habit fo bleeding in the past so that would be a minor concern. Back from a seven month break.
Second behind a thriving rival here last time (beat Monumental Man a neck). Nudged up 1lb for that defeat but a consistent performer and likely to give his running once more.
Three very moderate efforts in maidens last year. Makes handicap debut off a basement mark though and better can probably be expected in this sphere. Market check needed.
Course winner who was behind a few of these last time. Didn't get the clearest of runs that day though and reason to believe he could go well with rider claiming 3lbs.
Beaten just a head by Who Told Jo Jo at Yarmouth (5f good to firm) on last start. Has a decent pull in the weights with that rival and jockey claims a valuable 7lbs too. Big shout with a repeat effort.
Should be better for her comeback run but needs to show more before coming of interest. In a completive race for the grade here. Cheekpieces go on for the first time.
Low grade handicapper who remains a maiden on turf (0 from 11), but could strip fitter for a couple of quick AW spins. One of two runners saddled by this trainer.
Poor maiden beaten a long way in all starts. Needs to do much more.
Forecasts
Toolatetodelegate (4/1), Who Told Jo Jo (9/2), Frank Cool (5/1), David's Beauty (6/1), Monumental Man (6/1), Dilinger (8/1), Burauq (9/1), Coral Caye (14/1), Mostashreqah (50/1), Val's Magic Touch (66/1)
This is completive for the grade and several of these have already clashed this season. David’s Beauty finished ahead of Monumental Man, Who Told Jo Jo and BURAUQ last time. A chance is going to be taken that the latter can turn the tables on his rivals today having not had the best of runs through last time and very good claimer takes off 3lbs. Toolatetodelegate is another with sound claims and shouldn’t be discounted. Any market confidence behind Dilinger should be noted too.
- Burauq
- Toolatetodelegate
- David's Beauty
