Likes to bowl along in the lead but tends to save his best efforts for Beverley these days. Has dropped below his last winning mark though and can't completely dismiss if ready to roll.
Had a busy winter on the Fibresand at Southwell claiming a couple of wins including last time. Nudged up 2lbs for that win and has never won off a mark in the 70's so this requires a career best. Fitness however should be no issue.
Doubt it was the small rise in the weights that spoilt the hat-trick bid last time at Windsor (1m, heavy). More the fact she was running on desperate ground. This more suitable and no reason why she won't go well again.
Still a maiden but was very well backed ahead of reappearance at Chelmsford (7f, AW). Finished a well beaten second that day when again looking short of pace in a finish. May be he's seen in a better light over a bit further. Hard to dismiss.
Very consistent sort who finished 2nd on his last four starts in 2017. Returns today off the same mark and is a likely player once again.
Been off the track a long time. Last seen in August 2016 when well beaten at Wolverhampton (1m4f, AW). Significant drop in trip for stable debut and handicapper has cut him some slack on the back of the lengthly absence.
After 18 winless starts has won back-to-back events at Kempton on the AW over this trip. Manor of those victories makes him hard to punish and only been nudged up 2lbs. This is a different task altogether though.
Finished in the frame final three starts of last season all at Redcar. Best efforts have come on a sound surface so wouldn't want it to get too soft but should be competitive.
Three similar efforts in 7f maidens last season. Starts life in handicaps off a very workable mark and any market moves would be interesting.
Won back-to-back races before the turn of the year at Wolverhampton. Never won off a mark this high so this would require a career best today.
Was off the track for 10 months before two lacklustre efforts on the AW in November. Not seen since and requires a leap of faith to have any confidence until we see a bit more.
Shown very little in two AW starts so far this year. This trip is more to his liking than the mile at Newcastle last time. May need some assistance from the handicapper to get competitive.
Best recent efforts all saved for the Fibresand at Southwell. Has won twice since the turn of the year but this is a different task altogether but not totally dismissed.
Still a maiden after 29 attempts. Likely to find this pretty tough going from out of the handicap.
Forecasts
Fisher Green (9/2), Grinty (6/1), East Coast Lady (13/2), Coverham (7/1), Nibras Again (15/2), Lucky Louie (8/1), Bold Spirit (12/1), Chosen World (12/1), Honey Badger (14/1), Best Tamayuz (16/1), Grey Destiny (20/1), Black Hambleton (22/1), Talent Scout (66/1), Jacksonfire (66/1)
CHOSEN WORLD is a token selection on handicap debut to improve past a selection of exposed rivals. His run at Redcar in August suggests this mark should be within range. East Coast Lady, Lucky Louie and Nibras Again could all go well. Money for Fisher Green on first start for his new yard should be noted.
- Chosen World
- Fisher Green
