Mare who makes a belated debut on turf on the back of a hat-trick of AW victories (all 5f) at Chelmsford, Wolverhampton and Southwell. Carries a 6lb penalty for the latest one of those successes last week.
A winner over this trip at Chelmsford on his penultimate start (February). 4lb higher here, but sole previous turf success (1 from 14) came at Brighton in June 2017.
Veteran who is generally at his very best on synthetics, but one must be starting to question whether or not his legs allow him to remain competitive nowadays. Fallen to his lowest handicap mark since December 2012.
Stable in form, and this gelding is a previous C&D winner (August 2015). Returns from a winter break just 1lb above his last winning mark on the Lingfield Polytrack in September 2017.
Consistent on the AW since scoring at Wolverhampton (6f) in December, but isn't a frequent winner by any means and needs to find a fraction more improvement from somewhere, hence the application of a visor.
Goes into this 11lb lower than when scoring at Windsor (5f, good) this time last year. Has been unable to repeat that effort since, so we need to see the slide come to a halt.
Runner up on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton last week (5f), but comfortably held by the 2¾L winner Sky Gypsy. Run well at this track from a similar mark previously for Luke Morris.
A winner on soft ground at Chepstow (5f) in June 2017, but failed to beat a single rival on her next start over C&D four months later. Makes her seasonal reappearance in a first time visor.
0 from 16 on turf and generally below his best on the AW since the turn of the year. Hard to see how he can take a positive step forward at present, let alone figure with prominence at the finish.
A 12-time career winner who has enjoyed a fruitful racing career, but generally has struggled since winning at Wolverhampton in early 2017 (5f). On a lowly mark and showed more when a close up fourth to La Fortuna latest.
Course winner who has proved fairly consistent (without winning) in seven AW starts since the turn of the year. Finished just under 3L third to Cryptonite over 5½f here in August 2017 from a 3lb higher mark.
His trainer saddles four runners in this contest, but he makes precious little appeal as a 24-race maiden. In all fairness, he's less exposed on turf (0 from 5), but he did finish last of 15 on his sole Bath start.
Pastoral Pursuits filly who is clearly no great shakes (0 from 6), but she did manage to finish a close up fourth of ten to Perfect Pastime over 5½f here in October 2017 (soft), and a drop in trip could help.
Not shown any worthwhile form for a considerable amount of time despite being with various trainers. Never involved at Chelmsford last month on comeback and this trainer (known for a patient approach to dealing with horses) reaches for the blinkers.
A 15-race AW maiden who was well beaten by La Fortuna latest (finished sixth of ten). Blinkers applied for the first time on turf debut.
A ten race maiden who probably ran her best ever race at this track in September 2016 (fourth). First time cheek-pieces added to regular tongue tie. 4lb out of the handicap.
A mare who has won just once in 25 career starts (5f good at Hamilton in May 2016) and races from 5lb out of the handicap accordingly. Sports the first time visor.
Dismal in three career starts, managing to beat only a limited number of rivals collectively. Handicap debut, with an opening mark of 25 appearing generous. No chance.

The biggest field of the evening to conclude the Bath action, but you can probably put a thick black-line through the majority of those towards the bottom end of the weights; many of whom are racing from outside of the handicap. La Fortuna seeks the four-timer on her first try on turf, but she looks likely to handle the green stuff given her versatility on a range on synthetic surfaces. Milton Bradley saddles four runners (or 20% of the field) with the Josephine Gordon ridden Burauq the obvious number one. However, with Tony Carroll flying lately, a speculative vote is cast in the direction of PROMINNA. He's just 1lb above his last winning mark, and was a C&D winner in 2015.
