Stepped up markedly on his debut run when winning over 7f at Redcar (good-to-soft) in October. Cost current connections 30,000 gns subsequently and he is an interesting runner today.

Best effort so far came when finishing a close fifth in first time blinkers (retained) on his first outing since being gelded. One for the shortlist if reproducing that effort.

Placed on both starts so far most recently when beaten a head over 7f at Chelmsford a month ago. Stepping up in trip today and likely to prove hard to beat in this contest.

Slowly away and green prior to finishing last of seven on debut at Chelmsford at the weekend. More needed if he's to play a hand today.
Unraced gelded son of Sixties Icon and a half-brother to the maiden Satpura. Probably best watched on today's racecourse debut.

Well beaten in a Newmarket maiden over this trip when making his debut in early November. Sent off favourite on that occasion and interesting to see how he fares today.

Finished well beaten in two outings over this C&D most recently in a 12 runner contest nearly two weeks ago. Others make more appeal.
Failed to trouble the judge in two starts to date including when sixth over 7f here last time out. Likely to prove of more interest once tackling handicaps.

Beaten a minimum of 17L in two outings over around this trip so far and more needed than when finishing 11th on his AW debut at Lingfield in November.
Slowly away but shaped with promise in finishing seventh over C&D on debut in November. Interesting to see how she fares on her debut for this stable.

Forecasts

Artieshow (6/5), Ad Libitum (9/2), Shuhood (6/1), Endlessly (7/1), Duba Plains (10/1), Mary Elise (12/1), True Destiny (20/1), Silverturnstogold (20/1), Kevlar (50/1), Bentayga Boy (66/1)

Verdict

ARTIESHOW looks the one to beat based on his two placed efforts at Chelmsford last month and he can make it third time lucky by taking this novice stakes event. The selection should have no issues with the step up in trip today and can get the better of Ad Libitum who finished a close fifth here last time out while previous winner Shuhood can claim third on his AW and stable debut today.
  1. Artieshow
  2. Ad Libitum
  3. Shuhood
