Street cry colt whose dam won from 7f to 9f. Shaped quite well when staying on steadily on debut at Lingfield and should improve.
Son of Multiplex who is a half-brother to Cativo Cavallino, a regular winner from 6f to 1m. Worth a check in the betting market on debut.
A €65,000 son of Iffraaj who is a half-brother to winning juvenile Brogan. Sent off at only 9-2 for a 7f maiden at Newmarlet earlier this month but was too green to do himself justice. Could be a different propositional altogether this time.
Dawn Approach colt who cost €175,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to 5f-5½f winner Lady Clair. Showed promise in mid-division on debut at Nottingham (soft) and should be able to take a step forward on this less taxing surface,
Quiet debut at Nottingham before finishing second of 10 in an ordinary maiden at Doncaster. Going the right way and one to consider on his AW debut.
Gelded son of So You Think who cost €35,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to 7f winner Showing Off. Stable does quite well with its juveniles so any market support should be noted.
Aussie Rules gelding who is a half-brother to six winners from 1m to 1m4f. Predominantly jumps stable will probably be viewing this one as a long-term prospect.
Zoffany gelding who fetched 210,000 gns as a yearling and is from a good family which thrived from 6f to 1m1f. Well worth a check in the betting on debut for leading stable.
Red Jazz gelding who cost £20,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to a winner at up to 2m. Slowly into stride and green on debut at Lingfield so may need more time to learn his trade.
Sepoy half-brother to four winners. Had obviously shown something at home before his debut at Newbury as he was sent off at 3-1 before finishing third of 14. Likely to progress and a leading player if taking to this surface.
Colt by leading US dirt performer Tapit, he is from the family of Group 1 winning stayer Royal Diamond. Represents a successful stable and needs to be checked out in the betting market on debut.
Rip Van Winkle half-sister to two winners including Echo Of Lightning. Outran her odds of 66-1 when third of nine on debut at Newmarket earlier this month and is likely to go off at much shorter odds this time.
Daughter of high-class middle-distance performer Universal, she cost 50,000 gns as as a yearling and is a half-sister to two winners. Might need time to develop given her pedigree but worth noting on debut.
Filly by Rip Van Winkle who fetched €25,000 as a yearling and whose dam was runner-up in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot. Should be speedy, but is likely to need this debut run.
Forecasts
Salute The Soldier (11/8), Mushtaq (4/1), Flavius Titus (13/2), Daltrey (7/1), Three Weeks (8/1), Doctor Knox (20/1), Brigham Young (20/1), Classic Charm (25/1), I Can (33/1), Sheila Rose (50/1), My Heart (50/1), Purple Jazz (150/1), More Harry (200/1), Cativo Ragazzo (250/1)
Several interesting unraced juveniles, most notably Three Weeks, I Can and Mushtaq. It may pay to stick with those with experience, however, and the ones to concentrate on are Brigham Young, Daltrey, Flavius Titus and SALUTE THE SOLDIER. The selection was well supported on debut and justified that with a bold display. He could be ready to get off the mark.
- Salute The Soldier
- Flavius Titus
- Daltrey
