Suited to these stiff tracks and scored over C&D under this rider three weeks ago. Did not look particularly well-handicapped that day and the 7lb claim proved significant. A 6lb rise in the weights now makes him more vulnerable.

Winner of back to back races last winter and proved vulnerable off her revised marks subsequently. Has appeared to need her first run of the season in previous campaigns

Beaten 4¼L into third behind Midnight Request on return and 4lb better off here. Probably did not benefit from the way the race was run and has the scope to reverse those placings.

His Wincanton fourth behind Dreamcatching, to whom he was conceding a stone, would put him on attractive mark. Finished tired on next start over 2m4f and that would be a concern here on first run back.

Winning hurdler and chaser who is fairly enough treated on his best form. Last two efforts have come over fences and he has checked out under pressure. Tongue-tie added but best watched for now.

Impressive winner over 2m2f here a month ago. Performed creditably at Cheltenham since over 2m4f but yet to prove he is ready for the stiff test that lies ahead of him here.

Well suited to a stiff test of stamina and not at all badly handicapped. Better over fences nowadays and likely to need this first run in 18 months.

Best run last term came on reappearance. Lost his way thereafter but jockey booking would suggest he is expected to shape better now.

Unconvincing profile so far and hard to argue he looks fairly treated for his handicap debut. Yet to tackle ground as soft as this but should appreciate the stamina test.

Both victories have come on similarly stiff tracks on testing ground. Beat a subsequent four-time winner on penultimate start and duly landed a three-runner event next time. Remains attractively weighted and one to consider with the yard going well.

Has underachieved so far over hurdles following a bright bumper campaign. Latest effort under this rider was more promising and indicated he was ready for the demands he will face over this trip on this circuit. Cheekpieces go on.

Shoofly Millyt,v22
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-5| J: Matt Griffiths| T: J Scott| OR:  108| CD

Generally produces her best around here under positive tactics. Pulled-up on her reappearance and a visor replaces blinkers. Handicap mark is up with events and others are more appealing.

Forecasts

Forgetthesmalltalk (11/4), Midnight Request (11/2), Trans Express (6/1), Albert D'olivate (7/1), Clondaw Bisto (8/1), Sartorial Elegance (8/1), Present Times (16/1), What A Diva (20/1), Aero Majestic (20/1), Kilmurvy (25/1), Shoofly Milly (25/1), Banco De Logos (66/1)

Verdict

There are few of these who look particularly well-handicapped but Clondaw Bisto is dropping in the weights and his lack of pace should see him appreciate this trip on a track placing less demands on speed. Trans Express was impressive when gaining a second course success last month. His best form has come over considerably shorter and there has been little to show he is ready for this longer trip. Present Times and Midnight Request are winners of their latest starts with the former looking the better treated if fit for his return. FORGETTHESMALLTALK was not far behind Midnight Request when noted putting in his best work at the finish and having allowed that rival first run on him. Alan King's charge has scope to improve and win races this winter and this looks a good place to start.
