Made a good impression last time out when confirming his return to form at Kempton over 1m3f only finding a progressive pair too good. Raised 4lb for that effort he's still below his last winning mark and a leading player in this.
Looks to be a rather inconsistent sort whose Brighton win in August is his standout piece of form. Has run with credit on the AW but has to bounce back from a poor run last time and others are preferred.
Better known as a hurdler he's made belated switch to the Flat and has the look of one who is being brought along with handicaps in mind. His four runs so far have all come over shorter and he now goes handicapping over a more suitable trip.
Justified being well supported when winning at Newcastle over this trip in early September and again ran well over the same C&D on his penultimate start (caught near finish). Disappointed when well fancied last time and questions to answer now.
This will be her AW debut but she shaped in eye-catching fashion on her handicap debut last time going in the style of one who could win a race such as this. The bonus here is that she's dropped 1lb and may yet do better.
Needs very little introduction around here a track that she's won at seven times although all her wins have been over shorter. Despite that she looks to be out of sorts at the moment beating just one rival home on her last two starts.
Often very slowly away which can compromise his chance and he's operating below his best at the current time. His last win came here off a 4lb higher mark but here have been plenty of moderate runs since then.
Ten starts into his career and he's yet to win despite showing some promise in some of his runs. Comes back 2f in trip after getting the run of things at Wolverhampton last time but on balance he's passed over here.
A winner over this trip on turf around here off a 2lb lower mark she's only run one race that comes close to that form in her subsequent outings. Steps back up to this trip after trying a mile on her last two starts.
His win here over 1m1f represented a forward step in his form and was worth marking up a little as he wasn't ideally placed in the contest. Failed to repeat anything like that form at Brighton and now gets his first try on the AW.
A nursery winner over a mile on soft when trained in Ireland for his previous yard that remains his best form. All his five starts for this yard have been poor and now returns from his second break this year with lots to prove.
His mark is reducing by the run but until he learns to settle he's going to be of limited interest and the hood/blinkers combination are tried again. More needed to win even a modest contest and passed over here.
A record that reads 0/17 means that he can't be supported with confidence but his last three runs (all over shorter) have been better than the final placing. Often travels well and not totally written off over a trip that should suit.

The second division of this is more interesting than the first with a couple of horses at least that are capable of winning this. Choral Clan has now slipped back below his last winning mark and it’s doubtful if he will meet anything as good as he did last time out here although CIRCULATION might just be one to derail his effort. She shaped really well at Doncaster on her handicap bow and helpfully dropped 1lb by the handicapper she takes the eye in this. Blue Et Noir has the look of one who is being teed-up for a punt in a race such as this and the market should provide a useful clue as to his chance. Famous Dynasty doesn’t have an overly convincing record but he’s shaped well on his last few starts (better than his final position) and he’s another for whom the market may well provide some clues as to his well being.
