Has struggled to get her head in front this year despite some consistent runs and there was encouragement in her latest run over C&D when she came second. Still dropping in the weights and conditions hold no fears and she should make her mark.
Made a winning handicap bow at Nottingham in May on a quicker surface than she will face here but has since proved that she can handle cut in the ground at Chepstow last time out. Looks as though the increased trip will suit and not ruled out.
Her form behind Torcello in a Salisbury maiden reads very well given how well that one has progressed since and she brings plenty of potential to the party. Well drawn for one that likes to race up with the pace and of interest in this.
Up in trip and on handicap debut after winning a fairly weak Thirsk maiden last time out on her third start. Has shown improvement on all her starts and should be effective over this trip and on this ground and another one to consider.
Has a rather inconsistent profile despite having won twice at this trip this year but both the wins have come off lower and she may well be in the grip of the handicapper now. Should handle the ground but one or two look better treated here.
Slips back down to her last winning mark although the suspicion is that she is better over further but does always appear to run with credit around here. Below form last time but is back down in class here which may help.
One of two from this stable to line-up here and although she failed to fire on her handicap debut she made amends next time out at Beverley with a battling win. Up 5lb for that victory she might not be as good on the testing ground she faces now.
An AW winner when with the Haggas team she failed to progress for that team although she has shown a little promise for her current yard on debut. Didn't build on that last time though on heavy ground and that leaves her with a question mark now.
Sure to be one of the lesser lights in this having been well beaten in a seller when last seen in the summer. Would need to make a major step forward to have a say in this and that doesn't look likely.
Has had plenty of chances in handicap company and has run some decent enough races without ever looking as though she could win one of these and her record now stands at 0/13. Looks vulnerable here with the ground also looking against her.

Forecasts
Caravela (3/1), Persistence (4/1), Meccabah (9/2), Marsh Pride (11/2), Liquid Gold (13/2), Mouille Point (7/1), Rosemay (10/1), Monaco Rose (10/1), Pantera Negra (10/1), Katebird (14/1), Dellaguista (20/1), Italian Beauty (50/1)
Quite a few of these look interesting in handicap company and it should prove to be an informative affair with PERSISTENCE the one that holds most appeal as she steps into handicaps for the first time having shown plenty of promise in maidens. Pantera Negra and Mouille Point represent some strong handicap form already and both should be respected especially as they have form on a soft surface. Carvela is another to consider as she steps up in trip and Marsh Pride would be a threat if she can back up her run from last time off a now reducing mark. The two Fahey runners Liquid Gold and Monaco Rose are not out of this either although the former has to prove herself on ground like this.
- Persistence
- Mouille Point
- Pantera Negra
