Showcasing colt, cost 36,000 gns as a yearling and 85,000 gns as a two-year-old. Half-brother to two-year-old winning sprinter and dam was a sister to French Listed winner Kithira. Yard capable of readying debutantes and jockey booking's a positive.
Society Rock gelding, cost €41,000 as a foal and 46,000 gns as a yearling. Half brother to multiple winners and dam a full-sister to US Grade 1 winner Subtle Power. Too green to do himself justice on debut and may need more time.
Dark Angel colt, half-brother to multiple stayers over middle distances and dam a 1,000 Guineas winner. Improved from debut at Leicester last time albeit having the run of the race but should improve again.
Iffraaj colt, cost €260,000 as a yearling and holds an entry in valuable sales race. Related to several middle distances types and trainer's debutantes often need the run.
Dubawi colt, cost 2,600,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to Group 1 winner Izzi Top, Group 2 winner Jazzi Top and dam was a middle distance Group 1 winner. Worthy of the utmost respect on debut for a yard in flying for with their juveniles.
Zoffany colt, cost 110,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to Witch Of Fife, a two-year-old winner over this trip. Very green on debut and unruly in the stalls. Needs to have learnt plenty from that to land a blow here.
Canford Cliffs colt, dam a half-sister to Group 3 winner Sub Rose. May want further than this trip and yard's debutantes often need the run but does hold a Group 1 entry and any market support would be interesting.
First Defence colt, half-brother to sprinter Epic Voyage and dam was a US Grade 2 winner. Well beaten on debut at Goodwood in May and while he's been given time to recover from that, he'll need plenty more in here.
Soldier Hollow colt, cost €43,000 as a yearling. Half-brother and dam both two-year-old winners over this trip. Suitable test on debut and yard are in good form. Can't be dismissed.
Cost €50,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to fine winner including Group 3 winner and St Leger runner-up Unsung Heroine and dam a half-sister to 1m4f Group 1 winner Posidona. Well beaten on both starts and will need further.
Iffraaj colt, cost 120,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to Group 3 winner Dabyah and dam a Group 3 winner Queen's Best (dam of Queen's Trust). Interesting pedigree and trainer's juveniles been going well this year but may do better over further.
Intello colt, cost €35,000 as a foal and 100,00 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to five winners over a variety of trips and dam was a Listed sprint winner. Well beaten on both starts to date and likely to do better in handicaps.
Universal colt, cost 1,500 gns as a foal and dam won over this trip. Far too green on debut and likely to struggle again here in what is likely to be a deeper contest.
Sixties Icon colt, full-brother to winners Yorkshire Icon and Amahoro and half-brother to more winners around this trip. Yard been in good form with their juveniles/newcomers this year but this looks a hot race and others make more appeal on paper.
Foxwedge filly, cost 2,200 gns as a foal and €20,000 as a yearling. Dam a sister to the useful Vaticano who won over this trip. Yard's newcomers tend to need the run.
Henrythenavigator filly, dam a half-sister to Group 3 winner Pelligrosso. Pedigree and debut effort both point to her needing further than this.
Forecasts
Emaraaty (3/1), Sam Gold (7/2), Enzemble (5/1), Dark Spec (8/1), Beachwalk (10/1), Rum Runner (11/1), Delsheer (12/1), History Writer (20/1), Taurean Dancer (33/1), Blacklooks (40/1), Night Spark (40/1), Westbrook Bertie (50/1), Masked Defender (66/1), Becky Sharp (66/1), Technological (100/1), Lady Jayne (100/1)
EMARAATY cost a small fortune at the sales and may be worth taking a chance on in this hot maiden. Beachwalk is an interesting candidate with Moore booked to ride for his old boss while this also looks a suitable test for Night Spark who may be able to land some prize money.
