Has run at Goodwood on his last three starts, including when winning there in May. He is 5lb higher now, but is capable of a bold show for a trainer who does so well with his sprinters.
Dropped in grade after excellent runs at Newmarket and Ascot . He is a C&D winner so likes it here, and has every chance off the same mark as on his last two outings.
Experienced sprinter who got his head in front over 6f at Epsom two starts ago. Drops to a trip he has never won over, but represents a respected stable and cannot be discounted.
Won at Musselburgh three starts ago and last two runs at Chester off his curent mark have been perfectly acceptable. Likely to go well again, but one or two others might be more leniently handicapped.
Readily landed a quite valuable Mussleburgh conditions race in April. Although he has not won since, he showed enough last time to suggest he is in the mix off his falling handicap mark.
Much improved this year, winning four 5f handicaps already. Ran another fine race over 6f last time and, off 1lb lower and back to the minimum trip, he has to be rated a major player.
Winner of eight races who has finished third on his last four starts. Runs off the same mark as when close up at York last time and is a C&D winner likely to be thereabouts again.
Has been running consistently in sprint handicaps since joining his current stable from David O'Meara and showed he can be competitive off this mark when fourth over 6f last time. Drop back to 5f not a problem and another bold show is expected.
Won twice for Charlie Appleby, but has not pulled up any trees in three starts for current trainer. Has fallen to a lenient handicap mark and would be a threat if finding his form, but has yet to win over this trip so others make more appeal.
Back-to-back wins on the AW at Newcastle preceded a disappointing run in much better company at Wolverhampton. Has been given a break since then and returns to turf off 4lb lower.
Won a jump jockeys' sprint handicap at York three starts ago with Bashiba in third. Has struggled off higher marks on last two starts and although he is down 2lb, the handicapper may have his measure.
Showed plenty of resolution when second over 6f at Haydock last time, but has gone up 1lb for that. Drop back to 5f a plus and he has each-way claims.
Only win came at Musselburgh in October and has disappointed on his last two outings after a pleasing reappearance at Thirsk in April. Needs to find plenty against some in-form rivals.

A cracking sprint handicap which has a host of viable contenders. The ones to concentrate on, though, may be Royal Brave, Vibrant Chords, Longroom, Captain Lars, Signore Piccolo, Desert Law and SOIE D'LEAU, who come into this in form and on feasible handicap marks. The latter, who has run screamers on his last two starts in slightly better company, has compelling claims and get the vote.
